The Mission

When I was a kid, quality music filled my heart and mind with the good news of God's love and goodness. Music shaped my walk with God and I want to bring that to kids of this generation.  Today's kids listen to pop music with an adult sound.  My goal is to create an album that communicates the truth and love of God with lyrics kids can relate to, but for that message to be carried by the vehicle of the modern pop music sound kids love to sing and dance to. God has called me to write great songs for kids and I want to bring those songs to the world in the best way possible.

The $$$

Creating a high-quality album that has the ability to reach the world is VERY expensive. A single song created with high-quality producers, musicians, mixing, and mastering can cost between $2500-$5000. This is one of the benefits to being signed to a record label - they typically cover the large cost of creating a quality record upfront. 

I enjoy being an independent artist and that's where crowdfunding comes in. If I can raise the money myself, I can create a quality record while still keeping creative control of my music and career. 

So I have two goals. Goal #1 is $15,000. This will cover the cost of having a 5 song EP produced by top-notch kids music producers and musicians. (ACCOMPLISHED!)

Goal #2 is $30,000.  This will cover the cost of have a 10 song full album produced by top notch kids music producers and musicians. 
 

The Team

I am so excited to be working with a team of producers and writers from USA & Canada.  This includes producers and writers who have won Grammy's, Dove Awards, Juno's, created the music for Veggietales, and other international kids projects.  The money donated will be used to work with this quality team that can deliver a product that stands up to anything else in the kids market. 

The Plan

I am already starting to work with writers and producers to create the album.  I am going to keep writing until I have 10 world class kids songs. After that, all that I need is the finances to get the album produced and send it out into the world! 

Risks & Challenges

People ask me often "when is your next album coming out?" and I always respond "as soon as I have $30,000 to get it produced!".  They are usually a bit shocked, but that is the reality of what it costs to create a quality product. The biggest challenge is going to be getting $30,000. I have a plan in place to attack the $30,000 mountain from multiple angles, but the biggest help will be the money I raise through this campaign.
