Since he early 1990s Roctober Magazine has been one of the most passionate, thorough, absurd, densely packed, ridiculous music zines in the world, with brilliant, research-obsessed, generous writers covering obscure musicians in all genres. The zine also featuring some of the best graphic artists and cartoonists who ever lived. Roctober helps music fans around the globe discover lost superheroes of music, and those artists get the respect and honors they long-deserve by seeing their stories told accurately and joyfully. After a hiatus of more than 5 years the zine returns, now being published annually each October. A PDF of #52 will be released this Halloween followed by a very special limited edition print edition, which you can pre-order here in this funding campaign.

What We Need & What You Get

Because this is a crazy year (without the non-COVID stores and zine fests and record labels advertising and normal distribution) we are making this issue in a limited edition, so we will print based on pre-orders from this campaign and from local and indie vendors/distros. So your order determines how many we print, and the more orders we get determines how fancy we can print this (extra color, quality of paper, etcetera). If we only get a few orders this will still be cool - just more DIY-looking. But if we get a healthy amount of orders we can make this issue spectacular! So help us meet that goal of greatness.
