ROK!T is conceived and built as a vehicle to propel both established and upcoming comics creators and campaigns to even greater trajectories.

Inspired in part by mainstream comics magazines of days gone by, but moreover by the influx of talent, creativity, and ambition being launched in a new era of crowdfunding, ROK!T's mission is to add fuel to the fire of current and upcoming independent comics.

• LIFT OFF: Superfan Art, Camel Moon's Boots + Heels, and the return of Ask Narwhal!
• ORBIT: Feature length interviews with kingpin creators Billy Tucci, Dan Fraga, Andy Smith, Peter Simeti, and Mark Poulton.
• COMICSPACE: Writer/artist profiles with sequential art previews and excerpts showcasing current and upcoming campaigns from creators including but not limited to Breaking Through With The Barton Brothers,   Alterna's King Cryptid with Keir Covington, JP Plack's second volume of How to Die, Crowfire Studios' The Band of the Crow, and Aldous on the Farm's Hollywoodland Pulp with JPotts.
• FLIGHT PLAN: Ground level 101 tutorials with Rob Arnold's Top Ten Crowdfunding Tips (Replicator creator), a look at translating life/emotion into storytelling with writer Michael Oden (Elysian Fields, Embrace, SPQR Bizarre Adventure), and sequential storytelling with Dean James (Embrace co-creator).

Mission Control

I'm the real Steve Dye, a 20-plus year professional in the publishing industry. In recent years I've turned my attention to graphic novel production within Comicsgate. In one capacity or another, I've contributed or am currently contributing to campaigns by Ethan Van Sciver, Jon Malin, Shane Davis, Art Thibert, the Diaz brothers, Joe Ball, Chimera, Simon SIM Pothier, Vault Kobold, Rob Shaffer, Drew Eash, and many others.

Trajectory

ROK!T is a full-sized 120-page (or more) magazine. It will go to print just after the first of the year and be delivered to all backers as quickly as possible. All high gloss printed products will be shipped in a secure Gemini mailer.
