Taking it Back to the Streets ...

Revolutions are fought on the streets. The street is the great equalizer.

In the 60' & 70's we didn't have the Internet, and still we changed the world by stopping a war.

Today the Internet with it's social interaction is also changing the world. And my dream is to bring the best the Internet has to offer to the streets of New Orleans. And hopefully to other cities around the world.

As can be seen when I first entered Alex Jones contest over a year ago with the prototype of the every first Info-Wagon, I realized that the streets need to be heard and seen. From homeless veterans to active Colonels have come up to peruse my art, judges, civil-servants, students, housewives, professors and police have read my fliers and discussed our state of affairs. I wish I could have broadcast everyone of them. And the surprises never stop.

And not, may be added, without confrontations. And this to is why the protection of being broadcast live would help keep things peaceful. For the content of subjects are extremely controversial. I plan on showing pertinent news broadcasts, documentaries, live in-person and Skype interviews with leading activists and personalities, all broadcast from the streets, in the City Squares, in front of City Hall, or anywhere an impact can be made.

Taking Free Speech Seriously

The basic design for the electric-powered bicycle and Info-Wagon have an estimated construction cost of $3,500 to $5,000, mostly going to the Lithium batteries, solar-panels, converters needed and to run the two Super-sized monitors, scrolling-letters panel and other assorted equipment.

The real expense will the in the computer set-up and remote controlled cameras, for the times when I won't have a cameraman, plus the expense of setting-up a blog and the bandwidth needed to live-stream for several hours at a time. Naturally, the more I can raise the better the technology and equipment. It would be nice to exceed the limit and really make this project fly. As time goes on and the web-site grows income from advertising and sales of my art will help to fund the venture.

Everyone involved in this venture will be helping to reach people in a new and unique way, and it is the ultimate in free speech.

Have an impact

This sounds a bit grandiose, but I want to help change the world for the better. I want to show the rest of the world that the people walking down the street are just like them, with the same wish for peace and understanding. I want to transmit the hope they have, that we can come together and overcome those that would defeat us in our goal. And the hope is there, despite all the negativism, anger and despair, it's there, and it needs to be seen. And we can use the technology the tyrants are using to enslave us to enlighten us instead.

And you can help.
