Short Summary
This is a passion project for Dominic Riggio, long-time pro wrestling fan (he was in attendance for wrestlemania 3 and 23) comic book writer (The Arcane Awakening graphic novel triliogy, and Donnybrook, and "Rowdy" Roddy Piper The Kilted Avenger) and owner of Mess Bucket Comics, the publisher for this comic series.
Erik Hodson is the illustrator of this comic. Erik is known for his fantastic wrestling art depicting wrestlings's biggest stars in classic comic book covers. Erik has provided exclusive artwork for Mick Foley as well as Highspots.com.
This book will be distributed through Pro Wrestling Tees and has been approved by Roddy's widow Kitty Toombs (Kitty also appears in the book).
This is much more than an independent comic book series with incredible distribution from Pro Wrestling Tees. This is a a way of preserving Roddy's career in the most fun way possible. To quote Kitty "You can't keep a good man down!"

What We Need & What You Get
Dominic and Erik have been grinding away on the Independent comic con circuit for nearly a decade and all over the country. They have given up an incredible amount of time, money and "normal job" careers to pursue a dream to make a living with their art. This opportunity is of the highest importance to bring you a fun and deserving Roddy Piper story... but more importantly Erik and Dom are true fans of Roddy.

Risks & Challenges
This project is a great challenge for Erik and Dom. These two guys have many projects already on their plates, 25-30 comic conventions across the country, and the pressure of making this book loved by Roddy's millions of fans.
We understand that money may be tight for many of you and you can't contribute to the campaign. STRETCH GOAL #1: $9,000
An 11x17 Roddy Piper print from DC Comics and Marvel Comics artist Gus Vazquez. Gus is a 25+ year veteran in the comic book industry as a penciller. Gus has worked on such titles as the following: Deadpool, JLA, Green Arrow, Suicide Squad, The Flash, Spider-man, Sunfire and Big Hero 6. If we reach this stretch goal, EVERYONE that buys a perk will get a signed copy of this print!
Stretch Goal #2: $11,500
An 11x17 Roddy Piper print by comic book legend Arvell Jones. Arvell Jones has worked on countless Marvel and DC titles dating back to 1975 like the following: Thor, Iron Man, Luke Cage, The Avengers, Captain America, Daredevil, Superman and much more. If we reach this stretch goal, EVERYONE that buys a perk will get a signed copy of this print!
