Background:
Ryane was recently selected for the 2013 class of the Women's Campaign School at Yale--a prestigious program that selects 20 women from across the country, is non-partisan, and is an issue nuetral leadership program that helps women get elected to office. She has 10 days to raise $2,500, and is counting on your support.
Why Ryane:
Ryane is a progressive Texan with a passion for reproductive justice and communications. Ryane currently serves as the Political & Communications Coordinator at the Generational Alliance, where she develops and executes communications strategies for the alliance as its members.
Ryane chased her dreams and moved to Washington, DC last year to serve as a Programs and Development Fellow with the Women's Campaign Fund. Her passion for women's rights led her to intern at the Women's Information Network and NARAL Pro-Choice America before she landed her dream job at the Gen Alliance.
Ryane developed her progressive roots from the University of Texas at El Paso, where she was able to graduate in 3 ½ years. Ryane is a proud Young People For Alumni Board member, Lifetime Girl Scout and fierce advocate for comprehensive sex education, family planning and sexual assault prevention.
What your money buys:
While there, she will learn all the components of running a successful campaign such as: fundraising, messaging, and strategy (Looks like I'm already doing okay on fundraising!). Help her today by throwing her couple dollars to make sure she can make it to Yale!
You also get the peace of mind that comes with knowing that one day, Texas can turn blue. Ryane is very serious about running for office and ensuring that progressive policies become the norm. She needs your help getting to Yale. Can she count on your support?
