Why We Need Your Help
Our current goal is to reach $5000. We are an extremely small budget film looking for a beachfront property in Hawai'i. Most of our budget will go to locations and pre-production costs. We have about a month until shooting, so we are trying to reach our goal before then.
If you decide to donate to our project, you'll be contributing to:

- Locations: Our short film's setting is a crucial part of the story and it is important for us to secure a property. We will need to rent a location for filming, which will account for a large portion of our budget.
- Props: We will need high quality props to emulate a high class dinner party with catering services.
- Equipment: It is necessary to rent lighting and camera gear for this project.
- Craft Services: We would like to feed our cast and crew for their time and effort. We will also have additional expenses to ensure COVID set protocols.
- Marketing: Funding for movie posters, trailers, and graphic design will help us share our project.
- Film Festivals: Film festivals require a fee to enter, and we would like to do so!
- Post-Production: We would like to edit and perfect our project with professional coloring and 5.1 surround sound.
Can't donate? No problem. Please share this with your friends and family and help spread the word.

Director's Statement
"Salt The Earth is inspired by a collection of true events. The story is a glimpse into the perspective of people within the working class on one end of the vast spectrum of wealth. We use several motifs throughout the film, including birds which are used to symbolize the freedom we all wish to feel both in our personal lives and the time we share with others. I hope that the audience will leave with a renewed sense of compassion for others and their individual experiences."
