A quick backstory and the idea
Last July I have travelled to a small town called Avdiivka located on the frontline of the frozen conflict in eastern Ukraine. I have captured multiple angles and stories which I have put together into an article and gallery called 'The forgotten war' available to see on my website.
This time I want to concentrate on one particular story over the course of a couple of weeks rather than jump from a place to place. The story is about a volunteer group of people running a frontline ambulance and hi-tech medical support for their local fighters.
I have already managed to establish good relations with the said group and therefore the only constraints I have at the moment are strictly budgetary. All I need to photograph this story is enough funds to travel to eastern Ukraine and back plus some budget to stay afloat once I'm on location. No equipment will be bought from the goal as I already have all my protective gear, camera equipment and survival necessities (maybe with the exception of a warmer jacket as Ukraine in January can be a little less forgiving than London).

Publishing
The final story will be published on my website to accompany my previous story. Depending on the campaign perks the backers can receive a printed version of the photographs either in a form of a classic photographic zine or a carefully designed book. There is also an option of high-quality museum grade print signed by me and shipped worldwide plus an option to accompany that print with an equal print of one of my street photographs of your choosing.
If you can't help by backing the project you can at least help by sharing it among your friends and acquaintances.
Thank you for making it all the way down here.
