Introduction
Hi my name is Huw Lloyd and I’m a writer, director, host and creator of The Undead Wookie Podcast from Pontypool in South Wales. Over the years I have directed a number of short films, however last summer I directed a short film called School Hall Slaughter. Thanks to the wonderful and positive feedback we received, I have decided to turn School Hall Slaughter into a feature length film.
School Hall Slaughter is inspired by filmmakers such as Lucio Fulci, Mario Bava and John Carpenter. It has always been my ambition to try and create something that not only pays homage to these greats but brings something new and exciting to the slasher genre.
The short film was nearly eight years in the making and the feature script had spent the best part of eleven years in various different stages and desk draws. The idea was born out of one of those special moments that only a true horror fan can truly appreciate. Alone, in total darkness, wandering the corridors of the school I teach in search of a prop for a school production that had been left behind. The caretaker had let me into the building and swiftly vanished. So there I was fumbling around in partially lit corridors with only emergency lighting to guide my way. When my brain decided to ask the question, what if we couldn't get out and someone wanted to kill you? On that night School Hall Slaughter was born.
Horror has always been my passion and with your help, we can not only make my dream come true but also that of the amazing cast and crew who are desperate to get the cameras rolling. I can’t wait to share the feature version of School Hall with you all.

C L Raven are identical twins and mistresses of the macabre. They're horror writers because 'bringers of nightmares' isn't a recognised job title. They write novels, short stories, comics and film scripts. Their work has been published in magazines and anthologies in the UK, USA and Australia. A story of theirs was published in The Mammoth Book of Jack the Ripper, which makes their fascination with him seem less creepy. They’ve worked on several indie horror films as crew and reluctant actors. In their spare time, they hunt ghosts, host a horror radio show, look after their animal army, and try to look impressive with polefit. They’ve opened a mobile poledance studio, are an embarrassment to gymnastics and have accidentally become burlesque performers.

Challenges
Some people may ask, is now the time to be launching a crowdfunding campaign? Which is a great question because we are all faced with difficult times ahead. However, horror has always been a tremendous outlet and what better way to help people forgot their troubles, even for a short time, than a good old school slasher movie. Now is your opportunity to help us bring some marvellously monstrous characters to life.
But remember if you can’t afford to donate that’s fine you can help us by spreading the word on social media.
