Now, we have a lot to talk about but first, who are we and what do we want to do?

Who Are We?

Scomadi Ltd is a British Company registered in 2005.

Formed through the partnership between Frank Sanderson of Scooter Innovation Ltd and Paul Melici of PM Tuning Ltd who between them have over 60 years of experience in the scooter industry. 

They have created this new scooter based on the iconic styling of the Series 3 Lambretta scooter models. 

The idea behind the brand was originally started in a garden shed by asking the question “How can we make a classic scooter capable of doing what modern scooters can do today?"

The solution? "Lets build “A Modern Classic”"

The truth is that many scooterists love the look and feel that the classic scooter style has to offer but unfortunately modern day riding dictates the need for a scooter that is better suited to the congested pot holed filled roads of today. 

So now, at the close of 2014 and with your help, they want to build on the 50cc model created from this idea and already in production and make it bigger and better.

Introducing the NEW Scomadi 300cc Scooter "A Modern Classic"

The new 300cc is to become the future of iconic looking scooters, with the build and reliability of modern day vehicles.

With your help Scomadi will be able to put this model into full production and create something that will go down in the history books as a true great.

--- Update note on quantities available ---

We have had a number of enquires as to how many scooter will be available in June 2015.  To set things straight the first 100 will be available by June 2015.  The 150 number is a typo on our part which when done could not be changed.  The reason we couldn’t correct the error is that as soon as an order is placed the sales board is frozen and you can’t adjust it….and as soon as we went live we had a pledges right way so it was frozen, this is done to stop adjustments after people have pledged and potentially caused issues.  We should have caught this but we didn’t so it is what it is.  We will put a note on the site today to clear this up.  Thank you.  The 100 in June will be the first production standard 300’s so anyone buying these will be in the first “100 group”.

Following the June run a further wave of production 300cc Scooters will be available starting around 3 months after this. 

From October 2015 we are offering a limited edition of 100 “Signature Series 300 Scooter’s”. These unique scooters are individually hand tuned and come with a performance exhaust, Fuel mapping and filter systems, sports suspension and adjustable braking as well as your very own personal colour scheme.  They will come with a unique serial numbered plaque on them donating the limited edition “Signature Series and will be hand signed by the co-founders.  If you require a full spec on these then please let us know by email, maybe give us your number and we can call you if you prefer.  Always happy to try and clear queries up.

--- What Is Our Goal? ---

Our goal in this is simple - to raise enough funding to put the 300cc into full production and making it available to the masses in quicker time. We are  able to make the Scooters in small quantities but with the your help we can make  them in the quataties needed and faster too.

We have thought about this long and hard and using our extensive knowledge of the business we know that if we can raise £200,000 we will be able to get this modern icon into full production and into people's hands.

The idea behind the IndieGoGo campaign - to see if the scooter community would get behind and support us so we would be able to produce more and faster to meet demands by the public.  You will appreciate we are a small company and don’t have the deep pockets of other larger automotive companies.  However, with or without the support of the IndieGoGo campaign the Scooters will be getting built and delivered – that is certain.
