HELLO TO EVERYONE AND WELCOME TO SECTOR-7! This book is co-created by myself, Ron Moscicki Jr., and my very good friend, Mathew Boyce. It reflects Mathew’s childhood love of the giant monster/ kaiju genre and my own love of the art of American comic book storytelling. 
 

The Story

    During the moon landing in 1969 the Cold War went HOT, leaving the entire Northern Hemisphere a NUCLEAR WASTELAND. Forced to unite, humanity created a utopia beneath the nuclear demarcation line called “The Veil”. Can this utopia last OR will mankind be crushed under the GIANT HEEL of a NEW THREAT?!

    There’s something so very special about the imagination of a child and the few special adults that seem to hold onto that part of themselves and feel a real need to share it with others. The fun, the excitement, and the giant spectacle of the movies we all grew up watching is what SECTOR-7 is all about! 
    The story, and indeed the very world that Matt and I have created for you is unlike anything else you will see on the American market today! A giant monster story with a human focus. Not only will you see the amazing giant beasts we have created but you will also be able to enjoy a very human story with rich characters that you will fall in love with. It’s one of the very few monster stories where the people are the focus (BUT THERE’S STILL PLENTY OF CRAZY KAIJU ACTION). 
    The BEST PART is that this story will be contained in only 4/ 40 full color page issues, so in a relatively short amount of time (in the indie comic scene that is) you will have a complete story with a beginning, middle, and end to re-read and enjoy over and over again! 
    We are so lucky to to have industry LEGEND Matt Yackey onboard as our colorist!! Matt has worked with  DC, Marvel, Image AND NOW US!!!
    BUT WAIT!! THERE’S MORE!!! The final issue will have almost double the amount of pages and be printed in an EXTRA LARGE format to give the reader the equivalent of an IMAX experience!!! 
    I have been a student of American comic books for 35 years and I currently manage a privately owned health food store in a small town. On the side, I’ve been a freelance illustrator for years and have run Romo Custom Art on Facebook. I’ve been lucky enough to marry the love of my life and have three beautiful children. Mathew is a school teacher and single father who is currently going for his masters in literature. He also has three wonderful kids. Having been lucky to have such amazing families we now are ready to SHARE OUR PASSION WITH YOU! 
    We have, what we would consider in the indie world, a moderate tier base. We want to give the best and most exciting product possible. We are lucky because most of what we create will be done by Matt and myself so the cost payout will be going to our colorist, printing, and shipping. This also means that we won’t have to deal with miscommunications between artists and writers and inkers and letters AND ON AND ON! This saves countless hours that can quickly turn into weeks and then the dreaded late shipping. Not here folks! 
    The money that we make after all is paid and shipped will literally be going to our monthly living expenses. It’s really that simple. Matt and I live in the same small town, with small town income and bills that keep going up just like YOU. We are the guys next door that will give you a ride to work or lend a hand when needed. You won’t be paying for our third car or bigger house haha… we live modestly and we want to simply enjoy life and create products that help you enjoy life as well!!
