About us
Starting from a common passion, Nick and Edo started a new experience with NicKnoc Pictures with the specific purpose to create something unique and challenging.
Nick, the creative side of this collaboration, has an acting background working both in Italy and UK and is now exploring the route of filmmaking with "Shhh". LAMDA graduated, Nick is in the process to finish writing his first Feature Film keeping his acting carrier moving.
Edo, working in the Film Industry, has a wide knowledge of its functioning thanks both a Filmmaking Course at the NYFA and a Degree in Economics and Business.
NicKnoc Pictures is now starting his journey with "Shhh" believing in the high concept of its story, its creative marketing campaign and its possible Festival exploitation.
Your contribution will be fundamental to help NicKnoc Pictures to take this project to the next step and give the movie the chance to be seen internationally.

STORY (or something close to it)
This is an exploration of non-verbal communication in a modern society. What does it mean to share a moment? “Shhh” explores one of the potential answer to this question through the eyes of common people.
The Film is very visual, close ups are fundamental to see the powerful but small reactions on the characters of the story. Sounds are very important as they highlight the silence that surrounds the various situations.
When people meet the surrounding context, their mood and their history influence the way they approach new situations making difficult to be ready to open up in the same way. How can we have a more open and honest connection?

The Impact
Shhh is an extremely unique short, with a modern view on a particular encounter. West London as his set, it has a sexy vibe and an instinctive style. Technology, nowadays a big influence in our world, will be part of this story, through the exploration of communication and its many ways.
For how absurd it can be, what our main characters lived, can be related to many people personal experience.

Nick is at his first directing experience and the risks are many - what makes NicKnock Productions confident about the project is the strong believe in it and the innovation in overcoming eventual problems.
Although the Director is at his first experience the crew has loads of knowledge to help him through his vision.
