Story Summary

COUNTDOWN is set in a world where at the age of 18, without explanation, a number countdown appears above a person's head. Dunstan lives in this world. Whenever he speaks, the numbers count down. It is in this confused and lost state that Dunstan meets Leanne. Their star-crossed romance is constrained however by the numbers and time. The film, written and directed by Sally Zhang, will be shot across locations in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Together with director of photography, Wai Malcolm, they create a high tension cinematic vision.
