Sola is typically worn on the upper arm. As you cool, your blood flows from your extremities and into your core. Some of this blood will flow through Sola and be infused with a small amount of heat. As this warmer blood is naturally circulated through out your body, it will cause a
0.4°F or 0.2°C increase in your core body temperature, leaving you feel drastically warmer.

Sola is absolutely safe, if we don't feel comfortable wearing it every day, then we would have never launched this campaign. But to reassure you, Sola has 3 independent safe guards to prevent overheating.
- The lithium-ion battery has build in protection circuitry directly from the manufacturer that prevents over current or over heating of the battery.
- Sola monitors it's own temperature and will immediately shut off if it gets to hot.
- A physical fuse protects against any shorts.

We want to be completely transparent with you in the unlikely even that we are unable to meet our ship date. Nothing is 100% certain and sometimes unforeseen problems can cause delays. In these situations, you may request a refund with the following terms:
- Before or on December 31, 2016, no refund will be issued.
- In the event that your order has not been shipped after December 31, 2016, you are eligible to request a refund only for the amount left in your order that has not been spent on it's production.
We don't expect to miss the ship date. In fact, we are working very hard to ship early in November so you get Sola before the holiday season.

How should I wear Sola?
Sola works best when wrapped around your upper arm. Sola is meant to be worn directly on the skin to maximize heat transfer, but it can also be worn over a thin sleeved shirt.

How do I clean Sola?
You can spot clean the neoprene band. Do not wash the silicone case.
My Sola seems to be defective, can I get a new one?
Yes! We will replace your Sola for free up to 6 months after ship date if there is a manufacturer defect. We will not replace Sola under these conditions.
- Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, disassembly, unauthorized modification or neglect.
- Damage cause by liquid contact to the electronics.
- Damage resulting from failure to follow instructions that comes with Sola.
- Damage resulting from the performance of repairs by someone not authorized by our company.
