What Speak Up Does

Speak Up Magazine is a nonprofit street magazine based in Charlotte, NC, that gives a voice to voiceless people and creates an income opportunity for individuals battling to stay off the streets.

Vulnerably-housed Speak Up vendors sell the magazine for $4 and buy additional copies for $1, which allows them to become self-sustaining micro-enterprises.
