We are natives of Louisiana who have lived off of this diverse land and we are currently witnessing its destruction.

The purpose of this documentary is to raise awareness and to gather the necessary research to answer the tough questions that the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill has brought to international attention. We will show this ecosystem and its biodiversity. We will look at the true culture of Louisiana, and all the elements that are causing it to unravel. We will look at the marshes which have been rapidly being swallowed by the Gulf since the 30’s. We will find out the truth about the Oil Industry that our society still depends on so desperately. We will examine the effects that the crude oil and the chemical dispersant will have on the local habitat, wildlife, and people. We will explore the level of effectiveness found in many different clean-up techniques. We will examine our society and government, its perception of and response to the Gulf disaster. We will contribute to a vision for change in the World’s future.
