St. Jones' Ditch - the Movie!
We are a group of filmmakers, coming together to take on the herculean task of making a feature film. Most of us are new to the craft; a few of us are very experienced. All of us are all in and very excited to be making the Ditch come to life! We are making dreams come true every day on set.
Leading the project are Sarah Brockmann and Jeff Long, a brother-sister team. Sarah wrote the script and is producing, in addition to several other jobs (costumes, craft services...). Jeff IS Mr. Black Media, a computer animation/VR/FX house in RI. He is directing and will be providing all of the effects, colour correction, and editing. Our lead actors, Johnny Egan and Sonya Joyner, are seasoned actors, as are several other cast members. We've got lots of up-and-comers as well. It's a positive, fun set. Everyone is just happy to be there!
What We Need & What You Get
Of course, what we're doing is going to cost money! We've already spent a good amount, and we really need financial support to make the best picture we can. With your help, we'll be able to rent equipment, pay for locations, and feed the cast and crew (absolutely vital - we take pride in having good crafty!). And of course, following our project on Facebook and here at Indiegogo will encourage us all, knowing that there are folks who are rooting for this "little picture that could".
