Microzeit from Germany teams up with Editions64K from France. We embark on a journey into the history of the micro and land in the middle of a revolutionary controversy. Which 16/32-bit system shall one choose? Which operating system will prevail?
Nothing less than the future of home computing was at stake, and the two main camps were as committed as they were divided…

STAMIGA gives the total comparison of the arch-rival Commodore Amiga and Atari ST and their strong fan bases in the 1980s and 90s. The book unites a factual and opinion-based approach, delivering a collection of newly written background articles, comparing hypotheses with facts, including eyewitness accounts, and presenting analyses of historical media.
![]()
STAMIGA presents a unique anthology that unfurls the great flame war in its full force.
We let them clash again. How and why have scenes, freaks and groups formed that polarise opinion so strongly? What were the aces in the systems? Where did the 16-bit hype come from? What significance would it have for the next generation of computers?
![]()
Visions and delusions: STAMIGA lets arguments collide.
We show the great divide that these 16-bit systems drove into an evolving technocratic society and look for intersections. Technology vs. People. Industry vs. Megalomania. Did publishers and developers pour oil into the fire? We deliver retrospectives, insights and visions. Makers and users have their say as well as sellers and buyers, industry and underground.
![]()
“Only Amiga makes it possible” or
“Power Without the Price”…?
![]()
STAMIGA asks: What lessons were learned after the end of the 16-bit war?
To what extent did the “All-In-One Machine” ideas ultimately come true? And what do Amiga & Atari ST stand for today? We explore country priorities and commercial developments, and contrast them with the systemic ideologies of the hardliners.

Let's have a look at the perks and goodies. Chris Abbott of C64audio.com presents FastLoaders from Norway. This unique Amiga/C64 tribute band brings their hard'n'heavy riffs of gaming classics straight to the stage. Chris Hülsbeck, David Whittaker, Rob Hubbard, Ben Daglish, Matt Gray, Barry Leitch or Reyn Ouwehand have never sounded so Metal.
With Amiga Rocks, a great triple CD digipack, FastLoaders bring you back to the world of Amiga games, not just the connoisseurs, we recommend them to everyone who loves electric, handmade rock music with a tasteful touch of progressiveness. Grab the physical albums as long as stock lasts. We're giving away high-percentage vouchers to go with it!
Next live concert: June 2nd in Bergen, Norway.
Now let's listen to some of the wonderful free download titles you get with the packs...
Since 2016, FastLoaders have produced four tribute albums on a total of eight CDs. The next one is C64 Rocks and will be soon available on c64audio.com. On top we add some exceptional remix tracks from Project Paula – a new cooperation of independent electronic musicians. This stirring synthwave/cyberpunk album is available on Bandcamp. Every Amiga fan knows Dr. Awesome. The composer of the famous Worms soundtrack contributes two spacy tracks from Revive. He now runs Shockwave-Sound and offers royalty-free music. Allister Brimble donates two outstanding songs from his extensive portfolio on Bandcamp. The experienced studio composer revived and modernised his most famous game tracks for Amiga Works in 2014.
Our third feature is an ST scene classic interpreted by Fabian Del Priore of Rapture Music for the album Revival ST. At the time of its release in 2005, it was a milestone for Atari ST fans. In total, it contains 14 experimental chiptune renditions. Highlight: Jan Morgenstern breathes new life into the complex arrangements of Joris de Man (Scavenger) in an impressively groovy way while staying true to the spirit of the YM2149 originals.
For copyright reasons, the CD album is no longer available for purchase, but we managed to get some excellent download tracks for you!
The fourth video contains a song from the German Remix Group – a creative association of freelance music producers. Their tribute albums are freely available and immerse well-known chiptune artists such as Rob Hubbard, Chris Hülsbeck, Jeroen Tel or Jochen Hippel in a modern rave or electronic rock sound.
Studio wizard Sylvain Rouviere (Kaktus Project) from Backup Records has provided a set of five rock tracks based on classic Atari ST and Amiga games. Rouviere's respectful guitar style lets the power of composition speak for itself and gives the originals the sonic space they deserve. The MP3 downloads are part of all music perks and can be enjoyed as downloads at no extra charge: Flame Pack, Amiga Rocks, Revival ST.
