Short Summary
We're the creators of the Darth Bane: Path of Destruction fan film and we're looking for additional funding to make it possible to shoot additional scenes for the project! We're planning a two day shoot with an incredible lineup of content we plan to create. We want to shoot professionally choreographed fight sequences, add original music, and add more emotional sequences with our actors for dramatic suspense. We plan on finishing it and submitting it to the newly reopened Star Wars Fan Film Awards! We have some fantastic awards/perks for you guys - even at the $5 level! What We Need & What You Get
With the funds raised with this campaign we will be hiring professional Fight choreographers for the new fighting scenes and will be shooting on a 40 foot long by 15 foot tall green screen in a rented warehouse space over the course of two days. This space will allow us to accomplish much, much more - as our last shoot was a modest one shot in a garage. We have already assembled the actors, props makers, costume designers, a stunt coordinator and martial arts expert and organized the equipment for the shoot, all of whom are dedicated and willing to be involved. In a nut shell, this is what we're looking to use the funds for:
- Hiring of a professional camera crew
- Camera & equipment rentals
- Warehouse / Studio location rental.
- The creation of new Costumes & the ability to hire skilled Makeup Artists
- The recruitment of a Professional Stunt Choreographer & Stuntmen to perform the elaborate lightsaber fight sequences we have planned. And to train our actors to wield their lightsabers in the most epic of ways possible.
- The hiring of additional visual effects artists to help accelerate our post production process and complete the production on schedule.

The Impact
With your generous contribution we will be able complete the project in time for Lucasfilm/Disney's Star Wars Fan Film Festival and create something - we feel - will have a strong chance at making it into the top selections. On top of that we will be making Star Wars history with the first ever Live-Action Adaptation of Drew Karpyshyn's Darth Bane novel trilogy.
For those of you unfamiliar with the story, in the Star Wars films there are only ever two Sith – the Master and the Apprentice – yet in the Old Republic time periods (about 1000-2000 years before A New Hope) there were legions of Sith. The Story of Darth Bane fills the gap in between the two periods of time in which he attempts to purify the Sith through extermination - with the help his apprentice Zannah. He is the definition of an anti-hero. This is a much, much, darker, and grittier version of Star Wars that we haven’t seen before and would be very visually appealing if made into an actual film.
We have the opportunity for this film to reach tens of thousands of viewers and we can't do it without you.
