Overview
Submission Possible is a 6-episode documentary tv and web series, written, directed and hosted by filmmaker, author and sexual revolutionary, Madison Young.
Submission Possible explores the queer sexual underground worlds of kink, fetish, and BDSM and is distributed on Revry TV, the world’s first global Queer streaming network.
The series stars Young hosting travel adventures with a mission – sharing stories of who we are as sexual beings. “Submission Possible is a dare,” says Young. “A challenge for us to shift the narrative. For us to celebrate our differences and our sameness, our connections.”
In the pilot episode, Young delves deep into sex magic rituals, herbal aphrodisiacs, cemeteries, sexy seances and spectrophilia in the hauntingly sexy city of New Orleans. Subsequent episodes will feature guests sharing with Young a different aspect of their sacred, queer, kinky and emotional journeys.
What We Need & What You Get
We are looking to raise $200,000. That is a lot of money, we know. But it will take that amount to create a quality show to share with the world! Your donations will cover:
. Travel - Submission Possible is a travel show so travel expenses like flights, gas, train tickets as well as accommodations are a reality of traveling to these incredible cities in which we are shooting in.
Equipment and gear rental - Cameras, lenses, steady cams, sound gear, monitors. Gear rental is a reality for us to have the right equipment to create a beautiful show in which you can see and hear all of the folx on film.
Production Team Payments - Filmmaking is fulfilling but also hard work and long hours. Our production team puts in on average a 14 - 16 hour day of production for Submission Possible. These folks need to be paid for their hard work!
Filming locations - Locations are expensive and we have quite a few to cover in cities all over the country.
Craft services - Food for shooting days and lots and lots of coffee. During these long days of production it’s imperative for us to keep our crew and interviewees fed. Food is love.
Post-production costs - Editors, out reach, social media coordinator, publicist and festival entries are in this category! This is a category sometimes folx forget about. From sound mixing to color correction, editing, and then marketing the show so that all of these incredible folx stories from around the country are seen.

The Impact
All of the folx that we are interviewing in this series are kinksters, fetishists, queers and/or sex workers. The purpose of this series is to bring these narratives to the forefront and to be a series in which we are telling our OWN stories.
For so many years our narratives have been distorted, exploited, and presented through a sensationalist lens that only further “others” our experiences, keeping us separate, and subject to continued stigma and harm from society.
No longer. We are changing that.
Submission Possible is part of a movement in which we reclaim our stories by picking up the camera and sharing with the world the nuances of who we are.
Our priority when organizing the production team is focused on hiring LGBTQ+, POC, and female film-makers.
Telling our own stories matter. That means having LGBTQ artists behind the camera as well as in front.
Our pilot episode of Submission Possible - New Orleans was shot by brilliant cinematographer Marion Hill whose feature film Ma Belle screened at the Sundance Film Festival this year and Episode 2 (Submission Possible - Seattle ) was shot by cinematographer Jenn Ravenna Tran whose film , And Then ,screened at OutFest Film Festival this year..
Let’s make an impact and change the world with brilliant bold beautiful art.
But we can’t do this alone. You can be a part of this movement. This is all of us working together to change things. I know the power of community and collective. I know what we can accomplish when we work together. And I have seen the impact that powerful art can make in an individual’s life, it shifts societal views, smashes stigmas and saves lives.
Can you think about one film or tv series where you first felt seen or represented in the media? Do you remember how that felt in your body? That affirmation that you are not alone? Let’s do that - together.
Risks & Challenges
Creating a documentary series of this magnitude is a TON of work, but we have assembled an incredible dream team to make it all a reality.
Luckily I’m a Virgo stellium who eats massive challenges for breakfast. In filmmaking you have to both be very prepared and know how to address challenges and changes on the fly. My 16 years of filmmaking have given me a lot of experience with being open and flexible.
As Mary Poppins said “Anything is possible, even the impossible.” I love taking big challenging projects and manifesting them into existence.
The importance of us telling our stories, is the fire behind my warrior spirit to bring forth this series with a full heart and your support fills me with heaps of gratitude.
