Sunshine in the Rain
"Sunshine in the Rain" is the story about going through grief, lost love, and finding the courage to walk forward through life again. The main character Daniel, seems to have an ordinary but happy life with his lover Lindsay, but everything changes after Daniel meets Rosie, a girl that leads him back to the past that he tried so hard to forget.

How YOU Can Help us!
In order to produce a film at film festival quality, we would appreciate at least $5,000! 100% of all raised funds will go towards producing a film that we all can be proud of.
Here is a rough breakdown where your funds will go!
Camera & Lighting: $1,600 - In order to produce the best possible picture we would like to be able to rent the RED DRAGON-X along with the necessary lenses and lighting equipment for 3 weekends.
Sound: $900 - Sound is unfortunately overlooked in student films. We intend to put as much toward sound as we possibly can. We would like more in order to rend the ZOOM F8n along with as high quality mics that we can afford.
Art: $600 - Art includes wardrobe, makeup, and props. Good cinematography comes hand in hand with a well dressed location and cast. Art is a hard must.
Locations: $500 - We need enough funds to stretch a location for 2 weekends. The more funds we have, the better locations we will be able to shoot in.
Craft Services: $500 - A well fed crew is a happy crew. We would like to be able to feed our crew who are not being paid. Every person working on the project is a volunteer, and so they deserve a decent meal during production.
Festivals: $200 - We would like funds to show the world what we've been able to accomplish. Otherwise, this film not be able to get anywhere.
Insurance: $500 - We require coverage for any equipment and locations that may ask for insurance.
Emergency: $200 - a small amount in reserve for anything that may go wrong during production.
Your Impact
Our goal is to positively impact the lives of those who understand the feeling of grieving over a loved one. With financial help you will be helping us touch those who need encouragement, hope, and way to just escape from the real world for a little bit through the film that we produce.
You will be contributing to many of our crew members as well. As students, we try to get as much experience and exposure in our field of study. This happens to be film production. For many of us, making films is our way of expressing ourselves and doing the thing that we loved and still love to this day. We ask that you would allow us this great privilege to work as a team with the resources that we desperately need. Thank you!
Risks & Challenges
Our biggest challenges would be finances to cover the necessary equipment and resources. Without a reasonable amount of funding, the quality of the film will suffer.
Other Ways You Can Help
Even $2-5 would help us immensely. Do not think for a second that an extra dollar won't help because it really makes all the difference.
We understand if some may not be able to provide financially. That's totally fine! If you can simply share this page on social media: Facebook, Instagram, and/or Twitter, it would help us to get the word out. We would really appreciate it!
