Who Is Randy Lemoine and Why Does He Need Me?

My name is Randy Lemoine and I am a cityscape/landscape photographer based out of New York City, USA. I have been actively shooting film and digital cameras for approximately 10 years and enjoy the process of taking a specific subject or idea and transforming that imagery into a pleasing photo people can enjoy. After being laid-off from a corporate IT job,  I have decided to fully pursue my dream of becoming a photographer. I have traveled to various locations such as Iceland, the Philippines and Death Valley capturing wonderous moments and experiencing new cultures.

Many of the images I have captured have gained recognition and awards. Recently, “West Side Story” received Honorable Mention in the International Photography Awards, while others have been featured in publications such as Audobon Magazine and Harvard Review.

Sadly, I have never actually had the ability to personally print any of my images in high-quality since I do not own a darkroom nor a professional-grade printer. Thus my reason for reaching out to potential supporters for help.

By supporting “The Print Project”, your funds enable me to acquire the necessary resources to achieve this goal; an Epson professional-grade printer. This will be the cornerstone piece for my company and fuel future projects such as gallery exhibits and fine art sales.

What’s Needed & How You’re Rewarded

So you’re probably wondering how much funding does a project like this require.  Well, considering the sizes I need to print and the avaliability of paper and ink, I will need approximately $2,000.00 to cover all costs of the equipment. This ensures a quality printer that will last and will produce superior quality images that will last for 100 years or more.

All prints will be signed by me personally and printed on exhibition-grade papers. Many of these prints are provided to you at a discounted rate, simply because you’re awesome.

If funds do not meet the target goal, then an alternate printer option will be considered at an alternate price (i.e. smaller print size, etc.).
