Long-haired, flowy-clothes-wearing hippie chick here!
I am a lover of all life, a singer of songs, and player of guitar-solos.
Some people call me a throwback for my love of the 'good ol' days.' The days with Queen, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, The Beatles, The Carpenters, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Woodstock, Clapton, Hendrix, I could go on! (but I'll spare you..this time :P)
I've been a musician professionally for 10 years, touring the world around 150 dates a year, recording new tunes, & exploring the depths of emotions, and hugging fans & animals alike.
My fans are my besties. The most important part of my team.
I became a musician I believe out of necessity. It came to me. I never wanted to be the 'rockstar,' or the Grammy Winner. I wanted to be the truth.
Or whatever my truth was in that moment.
Severe trauma, childhood pain, abuse, death, heartbreak initially became too much for me to bear. But music gave me a healing tool. A wand. A fire to expel the dark.
A way to connect to others who had gone through the same.
My songs do consist of a lot of depth, but with a light at the end. Always. Some songs question the meaning of life, how to let go of baggage. Some are mystical portal keys that will take you on an adventure to somewhere new, some are sweet love songs. Others question the very essence of reality as we know it.
My second hand guitar & trusted friend Two-Tone and I will bare our whole selves.
Our hearts. Each real tinge and tingle of life, I want recorded.
There will be tears. There will be laughs. Frustrations. But.
I think this will be the best one yet.

I have never crowdsourced for an album, although I do use my Patreon, which has partially funded my latest 2 albums. Which has helped SO MUCH! (thank you patrons!)
Lately, The most consistent comment I got from my fans on my recent tour early 2018 was...
"Your albums don't sound like your live show."
Heard you loud and clear.
In order to fix that. I need to do it right. Not just me alone in my room recording.
I'm gonna need some help!
Here is a cool graph so you can see where all of the money is going.

Most of the $$ spent will be going towards the musicians playing on the record (I got the good ones), as well as manufacturing the rewards & physical, magickal items. I've covered some of the costs already, but this is what YOUR contributions are going to. Believe it or not, for what I am getting, it's a bargain.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE RAISE MORE THAN 23K?
I will use the extra money to master all the songs for Vinyl, as well as hire a designer to design the cover/all the artwork for vinyl.
I will also have more money to market the album and potentially get the album on the billboard charts again.
I would also like to create a music video or two for a few of the songs (You can help pick!)

ANY dollar or moment you spend even reading this means the world to me!
I want to thank you endlessly in advance for even being here.
As mentioned above, I truly believe the very essence of a lot of recording has been lost in 2018.
So much as changed since the dawning of The Who, Joni Mitchell and all of those mystical beings who grace/d us with their presence on the planet.
It's not uncommon now to find artists copying & pasting, auto-tuning and massaging their product to the point of complete, and uncomfortably utter perfection. It's easier, more affordable and takes less time.
And while I understand that times are endlessly 'a changin, I can't help but want to keep the very essence and organicness of music alive.
I wanted to give those of us who weren't able to be there, or who miss that time a chance to hear undoctored music.
YOU are giving me that chance.
I will be keeping the music is pure as I can, while replicating old styles of audio recording.
What there WON'T be.
- No quantizing or altering drums.
- No copy & pasting
- No tuning vocals
- Low quality mp3's.
- Rushing.
What there WILL be.
- Higher Quality audio files
- Recording drums, bass & rhythm guitar live.
- Better microphones and outboard gear
- More genuine performances.
- Deeper songs
- Even better promotion
- Heart, soul & LOVE
- OUR collaboration.

As an independent artist, one of the most scary/intense/uncomfortable things for me to do is to ask for help. A challenge I face often is remembering the utter importance of music. But my fans reassure me day-to-day that the music MATTERS.
The other challenge I have had in the past was getting passed the plateau I inevitably hit.
Doing EVERYTHING myself. Not having the funds to record a higher quality record, and more intricate merchandise.
Another challenge for me is that I am needing a lot of help. I begin recording August 27th, which means I will be very busy. I have hired some help on-board to help keep everything online afloat while I am working. Teamwork, baby!
