First and foremost, thank you! This platform is amazing! We appreciate each and every one of you who gives us your time, donation or not, to check out swaggr. We hope you can get as excited as we are to change the world and wear amazing socks at the same time. We want to be completely transparent with everyone, so here is where your money is going and why we need your help:

The money is going towards manufacturing socks! That’s it. Pretty simple. We are looking to raise $20,000, and to be honest, that will not get us very far. It will allow us to fund our first full run of manufacturing, but will not put a dent in what we expect and hope to gain out of this experience.

We are using Indiegogo as our platform to engage with you awesome people and to get the word out about these awesome socks that are doing awesome things for the environment. We want every single person who sees our page, whether they donate or not, to leave our page with a smile on their face, and give a fist pump because of their excitement to work with us to conquer plastic pollution.

Can these socks actually be comfortable if they are made out of plastic?

They are horribly uncomfortable! Just kidding!! They are amazingly comfortable! In all seriousness, every person who has been fortunate enough to get their hands on a swaggr prototype says “I did not expect them to feel this way!” We may be a little biased, but we have never worn such comfortable athletic socks. Ever. Period. However, the only way for you to know for sure is to support us along this journey and get some pairs for yourself!

Do your feet get stinky after wearing swaggr socks?

Nobody likes stinky feet! Luckily, everybody that has worn these socks has said their feet did not stink. Yay!!

Why are there no sizes to choose from?

There is only one size! Swaggr socks are engineered using a specific yarn that allows us the perfect fit from a kids size 1 up to a men's size 16! I know it sounds crazy and companies say this all of the time. Seriously, though! We have designed the socks specifically to be able to do this! Don't take my word for it. Try it for yourself!

Two plastic bottles are used for every pair of socks that we manufacture. Think about how cool that is. When you are at home, drinking water out of a plastic bottle, or drinking a Gatorade after working out, RECYCLE those bottles. For all you know, the bottles that you are drinking today, could be one of our socks tomorrow. How cool is that!

The more we are conscious of our plastic consumption, the cleaner our oceans remain and marine life saved. By 2050 it is estimated that there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish! Pretty disgusting if you think about it. Are we going to eradicate that issue ourselves? Absolutely not. If we continue to educate, get the word out, and get swaggr’s in people’s hands, the more people will be aware, the quicker we will be able to turn this issue around.
