Entirely waterproof the Swytch pack includes a 25 or 50 mile range battery, an integrated power LCD controller, front bicycle light and carry strap. With Swytch, you can remove the power pack to charge the battery, transition from traditional bike to eBike.

The Swytch 250W motor has a top speed of 20mph with a max range of either 25 or 50 miles. This motor is Brompton Compatible and also available for other 16" and 20" (Dahon forks) folding bikes.

The Swytch 350-500W motor has a top speed of 30mph with a max range of 50 miles approximately 30 miles range when used at constant full power, approximately 75 miles range when used at constant low power. You can select your power mode and top speed after selecting the High Power Perk.

Initial installation takes less than 10 minutes, and is as easy as swapping the wheel. Once installed, switching from bike to eBike takes just seconds.

Our founder, Oliver, has over 6 years experience designing and building electric bikes.
He noticed that most eBikes are unnecessarily heavy and expensive due to the exotic frame designs, additional materials and superfluous features crammed into the eBike. What's more - these eBikes no longer look, feel, or work like a proper bike any more. Fed up with the high prices and poor quality of existing products, he had an idea for how to re-think the entire concept of an electric bike.
Using his existing supplier network and a close knit team of Engineers and Designers he began prototyping and developing what is now the Swytch Conversion Kit.

| What makes the Swytch kit different to any other electric conversion kit? |
The Swytch system is patent pending, the lightest, most compact and instantly removable eBike system in the world. It is the only system that allows you to have a bike and an eBike in one! |
| Why did you begin by crowdfunding? |
We wanted to make a difference, faster, by making electric transport more affordable and accessible. We want to improve people’s lives through great engineering and technology that is efficient and fun to use - but equally do not want to pressure people into changing their behaviour. |
| Why is it so reasonably priced? |
We have redesigned the eBike concept, incorporating intelligent design and modern manufacturing to deliver exceptional performance and quality in our Swytch kit. We have years of engineering and electric bike industry experience behind us so are able to deliver our promise! |
| Where is Swytch manufactured? |
The Swytch system is designed and developed in the UK, and manufactured by a trusted network of suppliers and OEMs in Taiwan and China. |
| Is this legal in my country? |
Yes! The kit conforms to EU standards which are more stringent than any other country we have checked. If you are unsure, please check your countries legislation. |
| Do I need a license to ride with Swytch? |
No. The Swytch system is 100% road legal without a license. |

| How far can I go on one full charge? |
We have two different kits! A 25 mile kit and a 50 mile kit. |
| What is the charging time? |
On average, 10 miles per hour of charge. Full charge is reached in about 3 hours for the 25 mile kit. |
| What is the maximum gradient it can handle? |
32% - steeper than the steepest street in San francisco (Filbert Street)! |

| Will Swytch work with quick-release axle size? |
Yes! Our hub motor inevitably means you will no longer have the function of a quick-release front wheel, but, we do make solid-axle sizes small enough for your current forks. |
| Is Swytch waterproof? |
Yes! All components of the Swytch kit are safe in rain and snow. |
| Can I still cycle if the battery runs out? |
Most definitely! The motor wheel has a freewheel mechanism - you’ll have no drag when you cycle with no power. |
| What is the warranty? |
All Swytch kits have a standard 1 year warranty. |
| Who is responsible for additional taxes, duties or VAT? |
The backer is responsible, please check your country's import duties before purchasing. It is 0% in the US and varies internationally. |
| Can I change or cancel my perk? |
