Who Are We?

HearTheWritings.com is a Baha'i inspired endeavor to create incredibly high quality audio books of the Sacred, Historical and Secondary texts of the Baha'i Faith. Together with our cast of amazing narrators we work to make audio books that can transform your daily routines into time to immerse yourselves into the writings.

What We Have Created?

Building on the successes of our previous audio books by Shoghi Effendi and The Universal House of Justice we set out to achieve our primary goal of converting the Sacred texts. So over the last year+ we have spent an incredible amount of energy and resources to produce an amazing audio book version of Tablets of Baha'u'lláh.  This work is considered to be one of the most weighty of Baha'u'lláh's revelation. Abdu'l-Baha had this to say regarding this incredible work:

“Direct thine attention to the holy Tablets; read thou the Ishráqát, Tajallíyyát, the Words of Paradise, the Glad Tidings, the Tarazát, the Most Holy Book. Then wilt thou see that today these heavenly Teachings are the remedy for a sick and suffering world, and a healing balm for the sores on the body of mankind. They are the spirit of life, the ark of salvation, the magnet to draw down eternal glory, the dynamic power to motivate the inner self of man. ”

Our experience creating, releasing, and marketing audio books for the Baha'i world has gotten us to this point.. and now we are ready to launch our first major title by Baha'u'lláh...  almost....

Why We Need Your Help:

The audio book production, editing and mastering is complete. The artwork and music is finished. The audio book is nearly 8 hours long and sounds glorious. Each audio book will be 7 CDs long! Now we just need your help to replicate the audio book CD sets. Help us take our final step:

• We need to raise $4500 to cover replication and shipping costs from our manufacturer.
• If we REACH our funding goal we will send off the masters to the manufacturer ASAP and have audio books in hand within a month! Yay!!!
• If we SURPASS our funding goal the money you contribute will be rolled into printing our next audio book title(s). (Up-Next: Kitab-i-Iqan!.. and we have 3 more in production right now!)
• If we DON'T reach our funding goal we will have to reassess how we can get the remaining funds or find an alternate method to manufacture the CD sets at a price people can afford without compromising quality... but they will be manufactured!

The Impact:

We are creating something beautiful and profound for so many friends around the world. Tablets of Bah'u'lláh is the first of five major titles we have been working on and the others are coming hot on the heels of this one. With your help we can create these physical copies of the audio book which help us reach more Baha'is and seekers around the world with the Sacred Word than ever before:

• Physical CDs are a must for many developing communities around the world who don't have access to MP3 Players
• Physical CDs are still the format of choice for most car stereos
• Physical CDs are required so we can approach the various Baha'i distribution services around the world and have them help us get Tablets of Baha'u'lláh into the hands of more people than ever before.

Risks:

Since the production process and artwork is complete our only risks are not achieving our funding goal... in which case we will have to reassess how we can get the remaining funds and/or still manufacture the CD sets at a price people can afford without compromising quality.
