Takashi the Wanderer is story about a boxer roaming post apocalyptic NYC. In this first issue we find him navigating through Queens. He starts working for a woman  named Emily Paige, who runs a water purification ranch and has use of her great grandfathers technology from the old world. 

In this new world all knowledge of boxing and martial arts has been washed away with time. Takashi was raised by a band of monks who were the last to practice the art of boxing. After their monastery was destroyed Takashi was the lone survivor. He has to use his knowledge of the sweet science to protect himself and others from the warrior tribes that control NYC. 

This comic is a full color  24 pages of story/art and extra creator content  - 32 pages altogether.

My name is Victor Rojas a USA certified boxing coach and illustrator from NYC.  Takashi the Wanderer is my introduction into the comic world. As few years ago I decided to slowly transition from my boxing career as a coach to an illustrator and comic book artist. I had to give up my art dreams early on to raise my son. I got into the boxing game as a trainer and coach as a way to support myself. I am very thankful to the sport of boxing for being able to help me live. Not only put food on my table, but more importantly for giving me the belief that anything is possible.
 

As an artist  I was heavily influenced by all the 90s greats like McFarlane, Lee, Silvestri etc.. always knew I’d return to the thing I was meant to do which is comics. I’ve built up my skills and updated my style to be able to produce work that I am proud of. On this book I do all the line art, coloring, lettering and writing .
