All his life NAT as been a MERC and has been seeking his true origin, never finding a glimpse of a clue, until now. A set of events will lead him on the path of his GENESIS.

A MERC leads the life of a freelance space rebel flying free from one job to another. He stands for what's right, or for what is the right price. No LORDS, No MASTERS!

This is like getting multiple comics in one book, the same as 2000AD & those supersized comics collection from DC & Marvel or Heavy Metal magazine but if all the stories shared the shame universe, THE NATVERSE.

These are just some of the characters in a universe filled with adventure, threats of all kinds, and extended galaxies. Differing factions are at war, with freedom fighting rebels, scavengers, and space pirates all vying with one another for riches and control. As perhaps the most feared mercenary in the fray, Nat is a freelancing rebel in space serving his own needs even as he contracts for others.

Risks & Challenges

I've already finished 65 pages in black and white. Michael Beacon is currently coloring the LOANI chapters. I've drawn the first three pages of Planet 69 along with the first five pages of Blood Brothers, part 2. At present the book is approximately 69 percent complete! We need your support to finish the work and make the Nat the Merc series grow still larger.

We plan to have the book finished and fulfilled within six months after funding closes. Some delays can occur, but you can be sure that you will receive your book. This is not my first rodeo! I've played a part in numerous campaigns by others, and have fulfilled three of my own with the help of Micheal Beacon as scheduled. All backers will receive frequent updates on our progress, and should any issues occur we offer total transparency.

• I hope to make enough money with this campaign to be able to continue doing this full time and produce on a more regular pace, Hopefully we'll break our record and unlock some cool free rewards and maybe even break the 6 figure club mark.    
• I have already started working on TFTN #3 to get a little head start to bring you the following book faster and I already have 5 more book in dev on the side, so you know I'm serious about bringing entertainment on a steady and regular basis, I'm aiming at 2 to 3 book a year if possible and that all depends on YOU the dream funders.
• All the money goes into creating these books, the universe, brand and keeping me creating full time.

A little backstory: Nat the Merc springs from an animated series project I created in college in 2009. We had both a producer and an award winning director working with us. The title of the first episode was Planet 69. We later proposed it as a videogame at Eidos and Ubisoft, but the project was not picked up. I continued to work on it while at University and first used the story "Remember the Name" for my storyboard exam. That became the first story in the Nat the Merc saga to be published in Zidara 9 in 2012, along with the first Roze story. Both stories appear in remastered form along with two new stories in Tales From The NATverse #1.
