Meet the team behind the series.

Michael Sammartino is a co-creator, editor, flatter and writer of the Techni-Gods comic book series. Years ago I had an idea to make this comic book and to bring it to life, so I invited this team to a meeting and gave them a soft pitch about this series and next thing I know we are on Book 4 and soon to be Book 5.

Ally Pepe is a co-creator, editor, and writer of the Techni-Gods comic book series. I was originally brought on as a consultant. I was the nerdiest of nerds within our group. Since then I've come on to do so much more than just supply the geeky references.  

SpookyT2i is a freelance artist of two decades, a graduate of Kean University, and a co-creator of Techni-Gods comic book series, contributing pencils, inks, & watercolors.  Personal studio artwork focused on 3-dimensional design, sculpture, and furniture making.  Professional artwork has ranged from fliers and promotional items, album covers, t-shirts, posters, billboards, and logos.

Alexander Lidström is a European comic creator who's been contributing his colors to US indie creators for eight years. 

The Story

After losing a major battle against a Techni-God,  Cliff Range and his companions must escape London and make their way to Athens, Greece.  Their goal is to report and regroup with a Council member of the Serpentarium,  the ancient order dedicated to defending humanity.

What is a Techni-God you ask?  

First and foremost, they are the main antagonist of the story; Techni-Gods are beings infused with advanced technology from an ancient time.  They perceive humans as inferior and seek to subjugate and enslave humanity.  

The Book Series

This initial Techni-Gods comic book series will be a 6-issue arc, creating the foundation for additional series, a graphic novel, and extras (concept art, sketchbooks, a historical timeline of the Rise of the Techni-Gods, and origin tales of the Serpentarium council members).

Cliff Range

Our central character is not a hero; he's been a soldier, a sniper and an inmate, among other things. His past is complex and intertwined within a greater story.  Other than Val, his current companions know little of Cliff aside from rumors.  They hope he can lead them to safety, but his personal connections to the Techni-God that has recently arisen could lead them all to their doom.

Valerie Hemmingway

Her relationship to Cliff Range is paramount to our story, but so too is Val's near lifelong involvement within the military.  Val is both a gifted leader and fighter, though sometimes she lacks empathy for anyone other than family.

Leslie Williams

The moral compass of our ragtag group of survivors, and a voice to question the indifference or unethical behavior of those around her. Confident and capable, Leslie believes they can conquer the unknown danger with moral fortitude. Time will tell if these qualities hold true as the squad pushes through.

Thomas Biggs & Christopher Wedge

Our most meta of character within our story, they know enough to know what they don't know. Biggs and Wedge are a tip of our caps to the stories that have inspired us, and surrogates for our voices as the creators of this story.  They make the references and the comments we would use, using gallows humor in the face of terror.

Our first four books are finished and printed, now it's just a matter of getting these books into your hands, and helping us complete the first arc of our story.
