Short Summary

• Dillon Whitaker and Clayton Edwards are the Directors of Noble Steed Productions. We have over 8 years of experience making films between the two of us. Last year we produced and created two short films (Green Grass) (Rage) and we have decided to move closer to our goal of creating a feature-length film.
• This film will be the first in a three-part series based on the book “That Printer of Udell’s” by Harold Bell Wright. In the story, That Printer Of Udell’s, Dick Falkner, who comes from a broken home, sees his father under the influence of alcohol and his mother starving. After his parents die, Dick goes to Boyd City in the Midwestern United States to become employed. Dick believes that "Christians won't let me starve." A printer named George Udell hires Dick; both of them decide to become Christians and Dick becomes a revered member of the religious community due to his public speaking abilities and optimism. At the end of the book, Dick gets a political job in Washington, DC.

• For this film, we are asking for $50,000. This will cover a multitude of needs including location, transportation, cast & crew, housing, food, post-production, as well as promotion & marketing.

Risks & Challenges

• Clayton Edwards, 20, has been using cameras since 2015. He has always had a passion for filmmaking as well as photography and has the cinematic eye to back it up. Clayton also has an Associates Degree in Digital Media and Multimedia Technologies. He is currently enrolled in the Film Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Central Florida learning alongside Hollywood's finest educators. Dillon Whitaker, 28, is a commanding director who takes charge of his surroundings and is quick on his feet. Dillon is finishing a BSBA Degree in entrepreneurship summer 2021. He also works as the audio/visual IT director at his home church Amelia Baptist Church.      
• One challenge we have faced and seen God provide for would be gaining a crew from UCF students that would volunteer their time and expertise to help create this film.
