In an age of plastic and quick fixes, the
London Analogue Festival is part of the growing crowd who still love the
pace of analogue, who are making art and culture the analogue way. We believe that analogue enables
people to feel whilst doing, to experiment, to touch; to be an integral
part of the process of creating.
The Festival is a non profit organisation, moved by the need of artists' voices to be heard, so we want to keep participation free of charge.
This year, from the 12th to the 14th of September, we will stage the work of 120 artists from 25 different countries: a fantastic and multicultural display of talents.

In 2014 the LAF moves to a more central and bigger venue: the Barge House, in the historical OXO Tower Wharf by South Bank. A raw and atmospheric four storey warehouse building, this year's venue is a hub for creativity and gallery of choice for
new-and-upcoming talents at the heart of London. International artists and
producers will bring moving images, photographs and sound art to the OXO Tower
Wharf, adding to the vibrancy of the creative atmosphere of the South Bank.
Following last year successful efforts to
encourage participation, the Festival will also offer a wide range of workshops ,
discussions, networking opportunities and special rewards proposed by some of
our partners. Our beloved partners include, amongst others: FujiFilm, Lomography, Silverprint, Impossible Project and Figosa.

The Festival is organised and run by a
fantastic group of volunteers who work entirely on their passion and love for analogue art. Even though, we still need funds to meet the costs of rent,
insurance, printed promotional materials, programmes, maps, the cost of
ferrying around very expensive equipment, and those infamous ‘incidentals’ that
always pop out of the closet the day before an opening.
With no fee for entry, this festival will
put the beauty of analogue within everybody’s reach. That means we can’t offer
entrance waivers in thanks. Instead we are putting together a choice of perks
to suit all.

The LAF is a free event, and all of the money collected will go into make the Festival the best it can be. This is how we will use it:
- Rent: £4,788
- Security: £200
- PA system and lighting: £800
- Electricity charges: £100
- Transport and installations: £500
- Venue maintenance supervisor: £240
- PayPal and IndieGogo fees: £1240
Printed promotional materials, programmes, food & drinks for the opening night, the cost of ferrying around very expensive equipment are also to be paid, but for that we are hoping to get donated in kind. If you can help us with any of the above, contact us. We know it takes a lot to make an amazing Festival, but we are all in to make it free and accessible to everyone. For that we count on you to help us.
