Harold Tarr, after a long career as a Marketing Executive, has at last found himself with the freedom to pursue his lifelong desire to act. Everyone has to start somewhere and living in New York made it a lot easier. Over the past four years he has worked hundreds of days on film, TV, industrial, music videos and Internet productions. But, an important focus, during this time, has been on short films of which he has completed nearly thirty, mostly in lead roles. His first, ‘1959-2003 (Approximately)’, written and directed by Dan Smight, was featured in the Chain Film Festival in New York. Two films, 'When?', written and directed by Adrien Roux, a French filmmaker; and 'Frank & Louisa', written and directed by Tanya Lukyanova, a Russian filmmaker, were screened at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. 'Broken Birdie', written and directed by Alex DiBacco was screened at the 25th Dusty Film Festival in NYC. Last month, Harold was part of an ensemble cast in a 4-part Internet comedy series, ‘The Focus Group Report’, directed by Loic Ruteraner. Currently, in addition to ‘The Archivist’, he is preparing for a music video, and an independent feature film that is in pre-production, ‘Obsidiana’, in with he will have a lead role, Dr. Charles Wormer, an author and psychotherapist.
NOTE: Executive, Associate, and/or Producer backers do not gain any ownership of the film, will not have creative control, and must sign a release form prior to film credit.
