In 1999, Todd Greene—out of his apartment in Santa Monica, CA—raised money from friends and family to fund his invention. That invention became HeadBlade®, a razor designed for men who shave their heads. Over the past 20 years HeadBlade has received international awards and recognition for its revolutionary design for a niche men’s having market. Despite that though, women have actually been using HeadBlade on their legs for years. Todd has received countless calls and emails from guys sharing how their wives, girlfriends, sisters and mothers had used their razor to shave their legs. In 2015, Todd realized he designed the perfect platform to create a ground-breaking women’s razor. That was the Aveline®, 16 years in the making and finally ready for women to shave with. Even though Todd still runs and operates HeadBlade with his 4-man team, he has decided to use Indiegogo to bring the Aveline to life and give all the women who inspired him the chance to own it first.
