Films are proudly working with a number of schools in Legnica, Poland to create
this very touching movie that highlights the troubles that can haunt the underprivileged, with a modern twist on the supernatural. Filmed in
Polish with English subtitles.

Made up of an
unknown cast, one of the main objectives is to involve as many children and
young adults as possible. Some of the children involved have special needs and this is one of the reasons why this film will be so special.
We want to make it an experience to remember!!!!!
The film has
full backing from the ‘Blue Balloon Children's Charity’, actors and staff from the schools
in Legnica along with a dedicated team of film-makers from Wales.
The combined
partnership between Green Valley Films and the exceptional people of Legnica is
fundamental to the creation of this movie.

The Story
Living rough on
the Polish streets, two young boys struggle to survive each day. But their lives suddenly change forever in a way they never could
have imagined. Following an accident, one of the boys develops a supernatural power,
which attracts attention of the worst kind. His life hangs in the balance as
his future is torn between the forces of good and evil.

Who Are We?
We are an experienced company that produces all types of media work but primarily specialize in documentary making. We have worked on feature films in the U.K. and contributed to Japanese movies and projects all over the world. We have a great reputation for charity work and is our first feature film we are doing on our own. We were told the number of young people involved and the filming in Poland would be too hard, but this is something we know we can do!!!!
Why In Poland?
After supporting the 'Blue Balloon Children's Charity', who are involved with many different projects in Wales and Poland, we were lucky to meet some of the pupils and staff from the schools as well as the ever supporting local authority of Legnica. At first, we were going to film in Wales, but after visiting and meeting the amazing people of Legnica it suddenly felt right to shoot it out there. Yes, we were worried about the support out there, but every door was opened for us to film and the locations in Legnica fitted straight into our story.
This was meant to happen!
Why We Need Your Help!!!!
We have been working on the preparation and script since last November, but now it's time to make the film. Despite us being very passionate about this film, we still need running costs, some equipment, travelling expenses and payment of staff. We'd love to make this for nothing but that's not how the world works.
The £30,000 we would like to raise will be split up between 3 main areas:
1) £15,000 - Equipment
We wish to upgrade our existing equipment to get the best possible quality. At the climax of our movie we'll be working with up to 70 young people. We will need extra cameras, microphones and other materials to make sure it all runs smoothly. The last thing we want to do is ask them to keep coming back for re-shoots. We want to get this right!
2) £11,000 - Staff Pre & Post Production
As film-makers, we put a lot of our own time and money into the pre-production, but we need full-time staff on board to ensure the the movie's completion. Good will is great, but it won't pay the staff's wages, I'm afraid.
3) £4,000- Crew Travel & Accommodation
Travelling back and forth between Poland to Wales is not cheap. So far, all the travelling for casting, location scouting and numerous meetings has been covered by us as individuals. When it comes to filming, we need your help for travelling and living expenses, which all adds up .
As movies go, we are working on a micro budget, but with the funds we generate we can pull this off!!!!!!!
If we don't reach our goal, then we'll do the best with what we get. We have come a long way and dug deep into our own pockets already. The good people of Legnica have opened their doors for us to film in their town.
There are so many people helping us already we really want to make this work and produce a quality film. Shot in Polish with English subtitles and using a unknown cast made up from young people from Poland and Wales, We were told it was almost impossible to do.We don't believe that!
We got some great perks for you too, from the bottom end with a digital download of the completed movie, to walk on parts and even private screenings, meeting the cast and even joining our team. The Impact
One of the main differences with this film is the cast. All unknown but so talented, we were blown away by the number of people who auditioned and wanted to be part of the movie, to the point we re-wrote the script to include more parts.
But we want to make it a great experience for our young cast from the Welsh and Polish schools involved, including special needs schools. These young people are coming on board as extras in as many parts as possible. We want to make a special film, but we also want this to be a great experience for these people and you can help with that. We really mean it, you will really be helping get these kids in the movie!!!!
Risks & Challenges
We have spent a lot of money so far and already have some good equipment. But in an ideal world we would like to upgrade to get the best quality possible.But if we don't reach our targets, we won't be able to achieve the high standard of quality we are aiming for.
