How do I set it up?

The setup process takes only 1 minute if you know your WiFi password.  Our app will guide you through the steps and with a simple QR code scan, the camera is up and working. Here are the instruction videos.

Shipping will be done on a first pledged first send basis. To make this as smooth as possible we would like you to go to our website after you pledge. There you can enter your shipping information and will receive a shipping number.

This way we can start forwarding your information to our carrier to start processing.

How good is the "Night Vision"?*

Here is a video of the night vision as recorded by the iCam HD, the wall is about 3 meters away (the tiles on the floor are 1 meter each).  At up to 5 meters, objects are highly detailed, however you can still objects at 10 meters with less detail.

What is the power consumption?

The iCam HD uses only 2Amps/5Volts of power and therefore can be powered by using only a battery bank.  This ultra low power consumption guarantees that it will never overheat and possibly cause a fire in your home.

Do I need to download an application?

Yes, you will need to download the iCam HD 360 app (for Santa's Special and the Snow Cubu) or the iSensor HD app (for the iChristmas).

Do I have to pay the import taxes?

No, we work together with TNT express to ensure all the import taxes that come with your shipment are being covered. 

Can I use it outdoors?

No, our products are not weatherproof.  If we were to make them weatherproof, then we would not be able to give this good of a deal.  Weatherproof cameras are easily a couple hundred dollars more than in-house IP cams.

How secure is the P2P connection?

With our 256 bit encryption and Google's security there is nothing to worry about.

And you can rest assured that something like this doesn't happen with our camera's.

Is there a warranty and user manual?

Yes, there is a paper and digital user manual, and a warranty on parts for one year after purchase.

How can I record my videos?

You can record locally on the MicroSD card (up to 32GB) or link your Google Drive account for instant cloud upload.  Be sure to put a MicroSD in the back of the iCam as this a requirement to record any videos.

You can also choose which quality you would like to record at and the method for upload (continuous, event triggered, or disabled) 

What is the quality of the video?

The quality comes in HD, VGA or QVGA.

For recorded videos it depends on what quality you want the camera to use. This can easily be changed in the settings menu.

For the live viewing, the camera will automatically select the most appropriate quality based on your wifi bandwidth availability.  It will also adjust the quality to make sure the connection is stable and has minimal delay.

What kind of WiFi connection speed do I need?

Our Cameras have built-in WiFi 802.11 bgn and both downloading and uploading speeds depend on your available bandwidth.

Can I mount it on the wall or ceiling?

Yes! The iChristmas can be mounted on the wall or ceiling anywhere in the house with the included bracket. 

Or plug it into a USB power adapter and make it cordless!

Can the infrared light be turned off?*

Yes, in the app you can enable or disable the IR LED lights so that you don't expose your loved ones to any unnecessary radiation that may be harmful to their eyes.
