What will the funds be used for?

PHASE 1 - Develop the initial look of the project translated from the books, the existing theme and art.

This includes:

• Show look pre-production: Designing the characters and look of the show's translation to animation

• Pilot Script: Creation of the script for the pilot episode

• Storyboarding: Storyboarding the action for the pilot in sequential images, showing layout, character expression, general action

• Voice Casting + Record + audio engineering: Recording of the voice actors and basic sound design for the story reel

• Story Reel/Animatic: Layover of storyboards to voices and rough audio design (music + initial sound FX)

 *     ESTIMATED COST for Phase 1:    $50,000 - $75,000

PHASE 2 - Production of the Animated Pilot Episode

• Pre-production: Designing the final characters and layouts of the show's translation to animation

• Animation Production: Animation to voice track and storyboard

• Audio: adding back sound score (music) + sound FX for the Pilot episode, post animation

• Author + formatting: Formatting for broadcast and/or film

• ESTIMATED COST for Phase 2:    $250,000 to $325,000

PHASE 3- Season 1, 9-12 TV Episodes

• Script: Production of all Season 1 scripts

• Audio pass 1: Recording of all voice actors, and initial audio design for animation production

• Pre-production: Designing the final characters (new supporting characters, ancillary characters, etc.) and layouts/shot assets for each script

• Animation Production: Animation to voice track and storyboarded action for all scripts

• Audio pass 2: adding back sound score (music) + sound FX for the

  Pilot episode, post animation

• Author + formatting: Formatting for broadcast and/or film

• ESTIMATED COST for Phase 3:      $2,600,000
