My name is Chad Townsend. I am a Prop and Character designer for WB & Disney TV Animation and am grateful you are here. I dedicated many years to giving my creative energy to the top entertainment companies and worked with many characters you know and love.

When I was a teen I created the Black Phantom and since then there have been many variations of him in my sketchbooks. believe it or not, I once pitched this to networks as an animated TV series in 2005 and almost sold it. twice. Looking back, I am so glad I didn't. Because I wouldn't be here now.

This is something I have always wanted to do and for too long stood at the precipice. My wife's love & blessings have pushed me off and I'm taking the leap into Indy publishing!

About The Black Phantom.

Through the Power of a mystical Key, he is the walking deadman known only as... The Black Phantom. The Skeleton key he wears around his neck is both his strength and weakness. separated from it he is just another stiff. with it, bloodworms that fill his body can reattach dismembered limbs or change his appearance to the dead person he comes in contact with. he has changed his appearance so many times he has lost the memory of his true identity.

The Impact

This is my first crowdfunding campaign. but don't worry, My comics are finished!

the art is 100% complete. I just need to edit and add the additional materials to the back of the books. After that, I can send them off to the printer.
