Welcome to Camp!
The Campground: The Requel will be the 3rd slasher feature from Studio 605. In 2013 Studio 605 released The Campground. Quickly doors starting opening and the film went on to play in Film Festivals and got nominated for 5 awards from Horror Society including: Best Indie Horror, Best Director, and Best FX. After the successful release of our 2nd slasher The Woods Within we decided to go back to camp and deliver one hell of a film. However, we need YOUR help!
The Campground: The Requel is exactly what it sounds like. A reimagining and a sequel all in one! The original The Campground film was good for what it was but looking back we know we can make it 605x better! Not only do we want to use this rare moment to redeem ourselves on certain plot points but also deliver a much more in depth story and more likable characters other than showcase the killer, Charlie Varsin.

Synopsis
In 1980 Haley Varsin took her son Charlie on his 10th birthday to an abandoned
campground called Little Farm on the River. She told him she had a special gift for him that was waiting in an old barn. After they both entered the barn Haley took a screwdriver from a nearby bench
and stabbed Charlie viciously over and over again. The murder got her locked up in Echo’s Grove mental
institute. Now in present day a group of young adults decide to celebrate a birthday party of their own at the campground, but it is only a matter of time until Charlie has his say. The film will follow the
character of Heidi and Kevin as they fight to survive their night at the campground, but that’s not where
it ends. After all this is a requel, not a remake. The surviving characters will go on to
explore the legend of Charlie Varsin and discover that there is something much larger going on rather than
just your typical ghost story. We are not just giving you the same movie again, but a much
more in depth story and characters you really want to root for.
