Mob witness Ricky Donatelli and his family are put into the witness protection program and moved to a rural, isolated four story farmhouse in Indiana. Shortly after arriving, they learn that their new house has a history of insanity and murder-suicides, and has been dubbed "The Crazy House" by locals.
When the family's daughter Lydia begins having terrifying visions of demons and ghosts, several superstitious members of the family begin to suspect that the house may be haunted. And when the men in the family decide to exploit the house by giving ghost tours to the locals, they attract the attention of both the mafia, and a one-eyed serial killer with a passion for ghost hunting.
With the Mafia closing in, Lydia's visions intensifying, and the residents of the house unraveling, the Donatelli family races towards a violent, explosive finale. But is it really the house that's making them lose their minds? The Crazy House will be an intense, mind bending thriller that will blur the line between reality and fantasy.

Insane-O-Rama Productions is a New York based film production company, producing high quality, successful horror films since 2003. Run by writer/director Marc Fratto and producer Frank Garfi, they burst onto the scene with "Strange Things Happen at Sundown", an ambitious comedy horror about the intertwined life of New York City vampires. Winner of the New York City Horror Film Festival's Audience Choice Award, and Videoscope Magazine's Actress of the Year award, Strange Things was picked for North American distribution in 2005 by cult icon Brain Damage films, and internationally picked up in 22 countries.

Up next, Fratto and Garfi completed their second award-winning film, "Zombies Anonymous", a tale of walking, talking, thinking zombies. Ambitious in scope, socially conscious in story, the film gained a cult following and was picked for distribution in 2008 by Well Go USA and featured a wide release in North America and over a dozen countries worldwide.

Insane-O-Rama's third film, "Hell Fire" proved to be the paradigm shift for the New York filmmakers. All hell breaks loose when four prostitutes kidnap a mysterious stranger who turns out to be the Anti-Christ. Picked up for distribution by Midnight Releasing, "Hell Fire" won multiple awards and made several best-of-the-year lists.

Featured in the pages of Fangoria Magazine (who called the film, "outrageously entertaining"), Film Threat, (who gave the film 4 and a half stars out of 5) and Aint It Cool News ("devilishly entertaining") , "Hell Fire" became an instant cult classic. Hell Fire was also featured in Mike Watts book on cult movies, Movie Outlaw.

In between feature films, Insane-O-Rama produced several music videos (including Etalix' "Stop That" and Kasey Williams "Get the F Outta My Way"), and scored several motion pictures (including such films as Pink Eye, Satan's Schoolgirls and Flick's Chicks) .
And in 2015, Insane-O-Rama completed a terrifying short called "First Night in the New House".

In the summer of 2015,
Marc Fratto had finished the script for The Crazy House. To raise money for the film, Fratto and Garfi planned on shooting a
sequence from the script to demonstrate
the look and feel of the movie, but wanted something that could stand on its own
as a short. Considering that The Crazy
House grew out of a short screenplay Fratto had written in 2014, entitled First
Night in the New House, they decided to
go ahead into production on that short.
Shot in one day, First Night in
the New House tells the story of a city girl who moves to a country home, and
starts to suspect her new residence is haunted.

Unlike
Insane-o-Rama's previous films (which were shot on prosumer-grade equipment), First
Night was shot in 4K high definition, using
The RED ONE MX, a camera that is quickly becoming the standard for big budget
Hollywood films. (although, the Crazy
House, will be shot on the even higher-quality, RED DRAGON, IN 6K high
definition.) Utilizing the same crew and Insane-o-Rama regular player Katelyn
Marie Marshall in the lead, there is no better example of what to expect from
the Crazy House, than by watching Insane-o-Rama's high quality, intensely scary
short, First Night in the New House.
