We've created a jewelry piece with the full functionality of headphones integrated into it.

Tech accessories like headphones have become a modern day essential, but for women are often stuffed at the bottom of a purse, get tangled, lost, and become worn out over time. 

We're on a mission to transform tech essentials into beautiful fashion accessories that make your life easier and complement your style.

Our audio necklace, The Dipper, seamlessly blends style and function. No one will know that you’re wearing anything other than a necklace when it’s not in use. 

Tinsel delivers high-quality sound that rivals other audio brands. Our earbuds use top-of-the-line components and are tuned to perfection.

No more untangling wires for days, digging for earbuds in your black hole of a bag, looking like a wannabe DJ, or downgrading your lovely ensemble.

Tinsel is a carefully-considered blend of technology and craft. We built The Dipper with quality materials that are made to last.

The Dipper is easy to wear and simple to use.

To switch from necklace to earbud mode, separate the chevrons to access the earbuds and place them into your ears, then disconnect the plug from the clasp in back of the necklace and plug it into your phone (or tablet, laptop, MP3 player, etc.).

To switch back to necklace, simply unplug the connector from your device and back into the necklace, and then put the earbuds back into their chevrons.

You can also access the bottom chevron to fully extend the cable that plugs into your device. It's not required, but gives you a wider range of motion for carrying a device in your hand, a purse at your side, or a pocket.

Our team has finished the hardest parts of developing The Dipper with our factory partner and it's ready for production. We're currently just making a few minor tweaks to improve the experience even more. We believe in building a product that women will absolutely love, so we look forward to hearing the feedback of our backers during this campaign, as well.

Unlike many other companies at the crowdfunding stage, we’ve already done the work of finding a reputable manufacturer and developed our product in collaboration with their engineers, so tooling and production can begin as soon as we have the funds.

Our team has veterans who have developed many electronic and audio products, so we’ve avoided many pitfalls that new hardware startups face.

We’ve intentionally started with simple product features that allow us to execute with minimal challenges. Issues that lie ahead are most likely to happen when testing the first samples. If we discover any issues, we’ll be sure to notify our backers immediately and even seek your feedback.

In seven months, we’ve managed to get this project to a stage that takes many hardware companies years to achieve. The Tinsel team is fully dedicated to bringing The Dipper to life, and has carefully stretched our starter funds to get it this far. 

Now, we need your help to take the next step. Your support will allow us to start manufacturing so we can make our audio necklace a reality. What you are seeing are our prototypes --  the final product will be even better than what we have today.
