The Embrace II has 57 pages of story written by Michael Oden (SPQR, Judex, American Bliss) and edited by Lee Byron Carver (Company Men), with line work by Dean James (The Embrace), and colors by Eugen Betivu (The Lost Pages).
The first book, launched in 2021, was a sensation in the indie comics community, and we hope to continue and expand upon what we did in the first book in every way.

With the leveling up Dean did between the first and second books, we wanted to ensure that the covers of this second book reflected that growth. This was no easy task given the level of talent brought on to the first book for variants. However, we are very pleased to have brought the best we could to this book!

For this campaign, stretch goals are going to be a bit different. Over the past years, the plethora of tchotchkes and extras put into stretch goals have cluttered up our collective drawers and long boxes. So, rather than pushing a bunch of extras, instead, we are investing in the books themselves to make them more special.
150% funded (4500): Upgrade to Cover A
For the first stretch goal, we will upgrade Cover A to UV Spot Gloss to really bring out Dean's linework. This edition will only be available for the crowdfunding editions of The Embrace 2!
250% funded (7500): Upgrade to Cover B
For the second stretch goal, we will upgrade the cover by Irene Strychalski and Ivan Pineda we will upgrade the cover to a lava foil cover. This edition will only be available for the crowdfunding editions of The Embrace 2!
300% Funded: (9000): Upgrade to Cover C
For the third stretch goal, we will upgrade the cover by Eder Messias and Avery Ferdinand to a silver foil cover. This edition will only be available for the crowdfunding editions of The Embrace 2!
