We are The Fast Feeling!
Thank you for making your way to our Indiegogo Campaign! The Fast Feeling is comprised of three Denver locals: Leanor Ortega Till (aka Jeff the Girl, mother of children, breaker of saxophones), guitarist Scott Kerr, and drummer Andy Verdecchio. We have been writing, recording and performing music together for over 12 years as founders of Five Iron Frenzy. Now, so many years later, we are excited to introduce you to our brand-new sound! Joining us is multi-talented musician and producer Matt Langston of Eleventyseven and Jellyrox fame. Together, we are The Fast Feeling.

Over the years you have been so supportive, not only of Five Iron but all of our musical offshoots (Yellow Second, Brave Saint Saturn, Hearts of Palm, to name a few). We count many of you as close friends. We've slept on your floor. We've shared meals and you have met our kids. You've pet our dogs. That practically makes us family. And right now we're that family member asking you to join our pyramid scheme.
New songs. New sound.
In 2015, Scott (bass, guitar, synth, vocals) and Leanor (lead vox) began experimenting with new material. Within a couple of months, Andy (drums) and Matt (synth, guitar, vocals) had come aboard, imprinting the songs with their unique influences. This collaboration combines elements of rock, power pop, and EDM, into what we think is a fresh sound, while retaining the song stylings you, our fans, have come to appreciate.
How YOU can help:
As you might guess, getting a band off the ground and making a record is an expensive endeavor. There are many upfront costs, like recording, mixing, mastering, manufacturing CD's, shirts, and other merchandise. In the days of old, we would get a loan from our rich uncle (i.e. record label) to cover this, but we have become more DIY as veteran musicians, and have funded ourselves as much as our budgets, and spouses, will allow.
That's where you come in. We've concocted lots of ways for you to get involved. It could be as simple as helping us spread the word, or pre-ordering your very own shirt or CD. If you really want to go all out you can spring for one of our top tier offerings. Each of these items is guaranteed to please even the most discriminating of crowd funders. Come hang out at a recording session, or have dinner with us, get a mix tape or a one on one music lesson.
