Hello, thank you for your time reviewing out funding campaign for THE FURY, a 30 minute horror-fantasy independent film. This film follows Gabi, a woman in her twenties running from her violent past under a stiffing religious upbringing, seeking redemption from her past through investigating an art collector with a special collection.

This campaign is to help fund the production of our film. We are an independent production, and I, Bailey Seifferly, the writer/director of the film, am paying out of pocket for this film until we receive funding. As well as this IndieGoGo, we are relying on short film grants, writing competitions, and film festivals once the film is completed. This IndieGoGo is necessary for our film to be made!

THE FURY includes inspiration from Ancient Greek Mythology, filmmakers such as Maya Deren, Bryan Fuller, and Panos Cosmotos. We're putting together a woman and nonbinary-led team and cast in order to bring this story about violence against women and the romanticization of women's suffering for art. All throughout not only film history, but ancient art from the Greeks, women are often seen as muses for male artists. The abuse these women face are often ignored and silenced "for art".
