For those of you that are concerned about this project meeting its goal and the rewards being produced, Rest assured! My intentions from the start were to follow through with the necessary motions to complete it regardless of funds raised.
This is the Genx Cardtroller A PATENTED, high quality, solid bodied, Bluetooth game controller that is the size of a credit card. It has 12 buttons conveniently arranged in multisystem configuration including a directional pad, 5 buttons + start button and 2 shoulder buttons. Popular systems include button configurations to accommodate Atari, Nintendo , Super Nintendo, Sega genesis, Gameboy/Advance/color, and just about any game that can accept a D-Pad controller. It is compatible for any smartphone, computer and game systems that support a Bluetooth controller.
But wait theres more! Whip out your wallet and pull out one of these controllers and enjoy some gaming on your phone any time you want without having to use annoying onscreen controls or clumsy game pads. It has a 2 hour runtime and charges by sliding the corner of the card into a micro usb plug. Other features include comfortable spacing for keys and ample room for your fingers to grab hold of, along with a solid and rigid plastic injection skeleton with ergonomic finger grooves as to keep the user from feeling like there’s something tiny in there hands.The outer body is sealed with a semi flexible skin that will make the unit highly water resistant and feel soft and comfortable to the touch, No more slipping because of sweaty palms anymore!

The on board memory storage functions like a wireless Bluetooth storage interface, appearing on your phone or computer as an extra "Drive" containing software like emulators, roms, games or other applications while also allowing the user to upload their own files. This can allow software producers to promote their software by including a controller with it. This is especially important in the quickly evolving software market since, Who would go to a store to buy software you can get online for cheaper? It allows the developers to add a physical material value to their product.
Construction I've designed a printer that carefully melts the circuit traces straight onto a board thinner than a sheet of paper. This in combination with the new Lithium-polymer battery allow me to create a method economically enough to have the circuit and mechanics placed within a material its self - completely ridding the need for bulky screws, pesky snap technology, or stuff thats been "glued" together. The final product will be a single, solid, device with no seams at all. This isn't just a video game controller, its an entirely new technology!
Marketing This product would retail for $15-$25 It would come pre-packaged with approved emulators and roms to get ones collection started, and a development kit for those that wished to design themselves! For the developers out there we will have service to offer bulk production and shipping services by uploading your software and manufacturing them with your custom front surface logo - exponentially lowering costs.

Are the buttons flat? NOPE! There is a soft rubbery skin that is to be injected over the plastic inner frame that will give it the nice "bump" feel. Those bumps make contact with a mechanical switch for a nice CLICK feedback, Unfortunately, until I build the machine, its impossible for me to replicate what that actually looks like that myself.
How much memory actually comes on it? Typically the normal retail unit would come with 1 GB of space. But for those who contribute, I have a special edition with about 8 GB of space. I chose 8 gigs because thats the approximate space needed in order to contain every cartridge based video game produced. :)
What is the funding going towards?
I am raising funding to construct a manufactuing process to produce these controllers. This includes building 4 different machines to accommodate the different stages of the project. I also require funding for the materials needed, like sheets of PVC, paper thin copper clad circuit boards, and lithium-polymer batteries. All of the distributors have been carefully selected and are standing by.
Will there be International Shipping? YES! AND ITS FREE! The device is only the size of a card so shipping it isn't any problem at all! We'll take care of that shipping for you!
What happens if the goal doesn't get met? I've been working on this project for well over a year now, and for the last several months have been dedicating 100% of my personal finances and time towards it. Its safe to say that I'm not going to let this project fail. With some parts already being ordered and the machinery on its way to completion, its all a matter of time. I waited to start the Indiegogo campaign once I had my patent cleared, because trying to complete this project on my own wasn't really my best option. Plus having financial backing means I can produce a much higher quality unit that can offer much more (like the memory storage and plastic injection features) , Realistically if this project gets funded it should only take a month until we start producing complete units,
Why do I beleive I can make this happen.
Typically with a project like this, One could face a huge amount of problems. From developing it, to writing the software, then engineering a device that could be produced economically, and then finally designing a manufacturing process to handle it all. Fortunately for me, my career/business/and passion have been doing all of that for the last 10 years. Educated in computer electronics and engineering technologies, a business structured on research and development - making a project like this a reality is no stranger to me. I have the ability to produce a reliable, aesthetically pleasing, comfortable and convenient technology without sacrificing features and quality!

We'll make you a special version of the Cardtroller in the shape and style of anything you want. Controller buttons can be arranged as you like. Shape must be no bigger than 4"x6" (Great example : A Bat-a-rang)
