My name is Ryan Hyde. As an inventor and product creator,
I love cool products that make a difference in the world. Two years ago I
launched The Gun Box on Indiegogo. The Gun Box solved a problem gun
owners, like myself, face each day. “Where can I safely keep my gun so I have
access when I need it?” Because I may choose to keep a gun anywhere, and
because traditional gun storage solutions were never intended to be part of
home décor, no solution existed that worked for me. The Gun Box 1.0 began the
evolution of gun storage and was designed to be left out in plain sight.
It has the tech to open quickly while keeping your family safe. Our
solution made a gun-owners responsibility to “protect and defend anytime,
anywhere” a reality.
Since the launch of 1.0 we have had
hundreds of customers ask for a more streamlined portable version. I am very
proud to launch The Gun Box Echo! Echo means a close parallel, or repetition of
an idea, feeling, style, or event. If you love the original Gun box you
will love this product. Lots of new tech has been added to push the
evolution of gun storage even further!
The Gun Box Echo is uniquely designed to be part of your home décor.
Using the latest in technology including Bluetooth, Biometric, & RFid you
have multiple ways to access the box quickly. Echo can be mounted in any orientation,
secured with the tether cable and has an audible alarm attached to a accelerometer
that will sound if the box starts moving. The free smart app allows you to
adjust the settings on the box and give access to the box if you’re not there.
With interior measurements of 7.25 x 8.5 the Gun Box Echo is big enough to
store most duty sized firearms. This is a smart gun storage solution.

How strong is The Gun Box Echo? We designed the box to keep Guns out of the hands of unintended users, especially children, while providing quick access in an aesthetically pleasing design. The Gun Box Echo accomplishes this purpose. If you take a hammer or saw to it for an extended period of time, like any safe, you can get into it. The Gun Box Echo is is tough enough to do what it was designed for!
