Story
Hi, I'm Michael Finn and along with comic creators Ron Frenz and Barry Kitson (our pencilers), Mark Waid (our editor) and a host of other comic creators, we are making an original 100+ page graphic novel in full color featuring dozens of super-heroes and villains from Comic's Golden Age, the 1940s and 1950s.
The story takes place in the middle of World War II. Hitler, advised by Misery, the Claw and others, has hatched a plan to assassinate President Roosevelt using the combined power of some of the biggest villains of the past, including the Clown, Mastermind, the Rat, the Scarlet Skull and the saboteur, Frost. The only thing standing in Hitler's way is The Liberty Brigade, a team comprised of the Blue Flame, Cat-Man, Kitten, the Mad Hatter, the Green Turtle and three brand new heroes: Mr. Freedom, the Bill of Rights and the National Anthem.
There are cameos by dozens of heroes from the 1940s, including well-known heroes such as The Black Terror and lesser-known stars such as TNT Todd, the Spark Man and Mirror Man. The same for villains as you'll find Professor Fenton, the Green Ghoul, the Cobra and Veda the Cobra Woman.
In addition to the 80+ page main story, we have over 20 one-page origins of various heroes and villains of the Golden Age by a host of comic book superstars including George Perez, Alan Davis, Mark Buckingham, John Totleben, Rick Veitch, Barry Kitson, Jim Calafiore, Chris Weston, Ken Lashley, Ron Wilson, Mark Morales, Al Milgrom, and many more.
We are also offering The Liberty Brigade Sourcebook comic in conjunction with Temporal Comics -- this comic book contains encyclopedia entries on many of the key characters in The Liberty Brigade graphic novel.

We have an amazing team of comic industry veterans featuring:
Ron Frenz - Ron Frenz has illustrated nearly every character in comics and had terrific runs on The Amazing Spider-Man, Thor, Spider-Girl, Ka-zar and, of course, Superman.
Barry Kitson - Like Ron, Barry has worked on almost every comic character out there for Marvel, DC and Valiant. With Mark Waid, he re-launched the Legion of Super-Heroes and also co-created EMPIRE, the ongoing story of a villain who has conquered the Universe.
MARK WAID - Mark serves as the Editor and provides plot/script and art advice and acts as the Mr. Miyagi to our new writer, Michael Finn. If there is a super-hero, Mark has surely written the book and left his indelible "mark" on it. He has had beloved runs on The Flash, Superman, Fantastic Four, Captain America, Daredevil, and the Champions, not to mention Kingdom Come (with Alex Ross) and many of his own titles such as Irredeemable, Incorruptible and The Traveler. Mark was Editor-in-Chief of Boom! Studios and is known as one of the "good guys" in comicdom.
MICHAEL FINN - Michael is a long-time participant on the comics scene, representing many of the top artists and writers in the business. With the great encouragement and assistance of his comic book colleagues, Michael is bringing his dream project to life.
Rounding out the team are our inkers Joe Rubinstein (Wolverine, X-Men, Captain America, Batman) and Eisner Award Winner Mick Gray (Batman, Hawkman, Legion of Super-Heroes) along with veteran colorist Memo Regalado, and letterer Dezi Sienty
