Nicholas Bromund - Producer, Director, Writer
Nicholas Bromund is an award-winning actor and director whose greatest passion is telling a powerful story. With a resume highlighting horror, dramatic, and comedic works, adapting this story written by Stephen King is a dream come true not only because he’s a huge fan, but also because of the challenge that lay before him. Through his experienced film and stage work in New York and Idaho, he’s mastered coaching actors to lead audiences through emotional, evocative stories. He wishes to accomplish just that with The Man Who Would Not Shake Hands, but take it one step further and put the audience in the place of the main character.
Victoria Horn - Producer, Director of Photography, Editor
Victoria Horn has a flair for storytelling in all visual media, discovered while studying in New York City, Los Angeles, and Boise, and found her home behind a camera and her true love in stitching together powerful, cinematic stories. With nearly two decades of cinematic and theatre experience, she’s proud to be a part of the Capital B Films team to help bring this exceptional story to life.
Guthrie Roy Hartford - Writer
Guthrie Roy Hartford is an award-winning screenwriter and producer from Massachusetts, best known for The Graveyard Gang and Burgers and Bow Ties, as well as his ability to weave comedic, relatable moments into the human dramatic experience. With several other projects on his horizon, he was proud to be a part of this ‘cross-the-nation team, and bring some east coast flavor to this piece while honoring the classic work of Stephen King.
Kody Newton - Gaffer, Camera Operator
Kody Newton is an award-winning director, writer, and cinematographer in Boise, ID. He started making backyard films with his family and has grown to making family films in his own backyard. With popular titles such as The Chosen (TV Series), Under Three Moons, Vengeance 2: Bloodlines, and Rose Blood, a Friday the 13th Fan Film, under his belt, he brings an artistic touch to lighting and a keen eye to the cinematography team for The Man Who Would Not Shake Hands.
Nyk Fry - Production Sound Recordist
Nyk Fry was born in Boston, raised in England, and found his way back to the U.S. in the late 1980s, studying everything from acting, to physics, to writing, and found his true love to be in the arts, music, and the impact of sound on filmgoers. From a four year stint producing a reality program to directing Air Supply’s 30th Anniversary DVD The Singer and the Song, as well as multiple other music videos, Nyk has since added additional sound experience to his resume with titles including, Scarlett, My Promise to PJ, Fugued Up!, You Need to Know This, and many more.
Kyle Daniel Barrow - Production Designer
Kyle Daniel Barrow has had a substantial career in the theatrical arts and theater education that spans three decades of work in performance, technical theater, and production administration. He has worked with many theater companies including the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Boise Contemporary Theater, Pioneer Theater in Salt Lake City, HomeGrown Theater, and owns his own production company 208FRINGE. His performance career ranges from educational touring companies traveling the state of Idaho in a panel truck to performing at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Kyle lives in Boise, Idaho where he is a director, a performer, a writer, a designer, a builder, a producer, and more.
Danika Starrharrt - Composer
Danika Starrharrt is a symphonic composer and multi-instrumentalist who has conducted local orchestras and performed at concerto level on 7 different instruments. She has released multiple solo albums and her music has also won awards both in film festival circuits and in statewide and national singer-songwriter associations. She currently performs with her group Starrharrt Symphonic and owns Encore Creative Center in Idaho, coaching musicians, music teachers, and other singers full time.
Cheyenne Bassham - Producer, Photographer
Born and raised in Savannah, GA, Cheyenne has been in the film industry since she was four years old. Some of her credits include print modeling for Limited Too® magazine, commercials, and shooting the pilot and first season of The Fashion Hero. Cheyenne studied Graphic Design and Film and Television at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). After completing her degree, she joined the Air Force as a Mass Communications Specialist. She now resides in Idaho, where she has the pleasure of joining the Capital B Films crew on this adventure and looks forward to many more in the film and tv industry.
Heather Horner - Costume Designer
Heather Horner graduated from Montana State University with a B.A. in Film/Theater Arts-Design and spent her time in the 1990s as a costume designer and stage manager all along the east coast. Her transition into film came easily as she found a fascination in expressing texture, color, lighting, and sound as characters in every film. In addition to her work for The Man Who Would Not Shake Hands, Heather is an award-winning writer, producer, and director known for Affective, 2 Montana Girls, Running on Love, Hellcats Highway!, Pinewood, and many more.
Danyale Cook - Key Makeup Artist/Key Hairstylist
Danyale Cook is an IATSE makeup, hair, and wig artist with over 25 years of experience. She spent five years running the hair and makeup department at Seattle Opera. While in Seattle she worked for The 5th Avenue Theatre, PNB, Teatro ZinZanni, and the Seattle Repertory Theatre. She has worked on over 200 live productions. She opened an organic salon in 2009 and began working primarily on feature films, television, photoshoots, commercials, music videos, industrials, and events. She has worked with Tobey Maguire, Laura Linney, Casey Affleck, Zooey Deschanel, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, and a collection of other high-profile celebrities including Oscar, Grammy, and Emmy winners. Corporate clients include Vogue, Starbucks, Microsoft, Albertsons, Micron, Ducatti, The Gates Foundation, TNT, NBC, Netflix, Disney, Fox, and the History Channel, among others. Most recently Danyale was the head of hair on the feature film Year of the Fox and the key hair artist on Casey Affleck's Dreamin' Wild.
