Our Story
We were headed to Europe for a 2 week trip. After 6 months of planning and saving, we were ready to leave for Rome. Boarding the plane, my passport got denied by the gate agent because of 'wear and tear.' Even though I had used my passport before and thought it was in fine shape, the airline denied me getting on the plane. Total nightmare!
We were stuck in the States and had to fly to another city. All told, we lost 4 days on our trip and it cost $2500 to salvage the vacation. When we finally made it to Europe, I was wondering how I could have prevented the whole situation. I came up with the idea for The Passport Protector - a hardcore passport case to prevent what we went through.
We're passionate about travel and making sure other people don't have the same mishap. Protect your passport so you can get on with the fun and beauty of travel. Plus, a percentage of sales from each unit will go towards study abroad scholarships to give more people the chance to travel.

Quick Facts
- As a traveler, you are ultimately responsible for providing 'adequate documentation.' The airline is not responsible.
- We had travel insurance and recommend it, but it does not cover any delays/cancellations for a denied or damaged passport.
- New or renewed passport fees alone can cost $80 - +$300 and normal processing takes 4-6 weeks
- If your passport is 'damaged' you must also present an original birth certificate to replace the old one
