My name is Žan Tetičkovič, I go by the artist name of Jean John and I am a 25 year old Slovenian percussionist and an award winning composer, living in New York City. In January 2011, I started creating an exhaustive work of extensive proportions, “The Port of Life”.

The Port Of Life is my one and only child, my raison d’être and a manifesto in front of which I stand completely vulnerable and sincere. It’s a compelling sonic experience and an emotive confession with which I am telling my story of acculturation...from saying a farewell to the first culture to complete assimilation in a new culture.
This is not a regular Indiegogo campaign. Since, I have already funded this insanely expensive project entirely by myself, it’s quite the opposite. Nothing is wanted from you, dear fans and listeners and I am not offering cookies, private lessons, etc in exchange for your support.
This 30-day campaign is just a chance for you to pre-order and get this unique work of art “The Port Of Life” for yourself, as this music will not be released in the shape of a regular CD... it is released in the shape of beautifully crafted book and a unique work of visual art.

A product like this is expensive to print, so only pre-ordered copies will be actually printed. After the end of 30-day campaign, only a limited number from my personal collection will be available and will be sold only on The Port of Life CD-release concerts.
