WHO ARE WE?

Hello Dear Friends, Supporters and SHIFTERS,

My name is Rochelle Marmorstein and I am the Producer/Director of
THE SHIFT Movie. After creating two critically acclaimed documentaries, I embarked on pulling together a world class team of professional documentary artists, leading edge thinkers, cutting edge scientists, culture innovators, social entrepreneurs, and digital artists to create THE SHIFT Movie, a project that is near and dear to our collective hearts.

ABOUT THE MOVIE

We call this a MOVIE MADE BY A MOVEMENT because what we are illustrating is a Movement that is the combination and culmination of all the movements to a more socially just society and peaceful world. Every one of us has a role to play and can contribute to making this a better world. Through this film, we want to show you demonstrations of those individuals who are already making a difference with passion and a commitment to positive change.

The film has magnetized incredible luminaries, leading edge thinkers, evolutionary futurists, scientists and ordinary people doing extraordinary things. I have put my life's savings into this project over the last 10 years and now we want to include you in our mission to complete this film so we can share this message of hope and possibility with the world.

We have already shot many of the visionary interviews and now we want to complete shooting the individual stories of the ordinary people stepping into their power to make a difference to their families, local communities, countries and to the world.

Technology and innovation breakthroughs are rapidly advancing the individuals' capability to make a bigger impact on the billions on the planet. We want to include some of these stories in the film to illustrate the impact that each one of us has the opportunity to create at this historical moment.

We have set our goal at $500,000 to cover production costs in shooting the remaining visionary interviews and individual stories. We would love for you to contribute whatever you can to help us get this story out in the world.

What kind of WHOLE NEW WORLD are we talking about?

The kind of WORLD that works for EVERYONE. 

Yep. All 7,276,809,319 of us.

What was once an impractical utopic VISION is now completely and utterly technically POSSIBLE.

And now, for the FIRST time in human history, 
our MINDSET (world-as-a-living system consciousness), 
our SKILLSET (whole system thinking & design), and
our TOOLSET (exponential technologies) have evolved to the point that the fundamental PURPOSE of a human life has also evolved. 

The fundamental purpose of human life has SHIFTED from one of mere SURVIVAL to GLOBAL HUMAN THRIVING.  

Albert Einstein once said,

“If I had an hour to solve a PROBLEM and my life depended on the SOLUTION, I would spend the first fifty-five minutes determining the proper question to ask, for once I know the proper QUESTION, I could solve the problem in less than five minutes.”

So what is the great QUESTION for our time?

And What is the NEW STORY that will help create

GLOBAL HUMAN THRIVING?

For over 10 years, our team and I have been asking hundreds of thousands of people these questions and documenting this phenomenon that has been under the radar in mainstream media.

This emerging STORY that affects all of us around the globe is a source of great HOPE and infinite POSSIBILITY for our species' future and one that we feel vitally important to bring into awareness in the mainstream culture.

The power of STORY comes down to the power of FRAMING and NAMING.

Every powerful MOVEMENT in human history reached its tipping point the moment it was effectively framed and named for the entire world to begin living a new story of what is possible.

Betty Friedan gave the WOMEN RIGHTS movement the wings it needed to take flight when she appropriately named it “the problem with no name.” Suddenly women all over the world were given hope that they were not alone and maybe they were not crazy to be so dissatisfied with a life that society kept telling them was perfect.

Martin Luther King re-framed the CIVIL RIGHTS movement with his famous   “I have a Dream” speech that effectively reframed the problem of segregation as America’s burden. And suddenly both White and Black America found themselves in an entirely new conversation about redefining the American Dream.

The GREATEST MOVEMENT IN HUMAN HISTORY has yet to be named.
It currently flies under the radar but we all feel it in our true heart of hearts – we know its there waiting to be unleashed.

GREATEST TRANSFORMATION IN HUMAN HISTORY

so that we can all have the common language, a common meaning frame, and a common meta-story that will help make our lives make sense again.

THE SHIFT

is here to shine a light on

And to give this STORY its name for all the world to see.

NOW is the time

for a whole New kind of STORY about

a WHOLE New kind of WORLD.

And since We Become the STORY we tell ourselves about ourselves.

Context is everything. And our STORIES become our MAPS.

Our collective heart longs for realistic maps to create
